Please read the cautionary note below. I can't give these clips more than one star because they are beautiful and appear to be well made, but they simply do not hold my hair. My hair is long and thick, and while they fit nicely around it (which is great), there is no gripper inside the clips, so it won't stay put. These are fine for half-up/half-down action, but they don't work for me when I'm trying to pull all of my hair back into the twist type thing we ladies do all the time. br>br>If these had rubber inside them, I'd buy a hundred of them. It's such a shame because the colors are so lovely.

You probably won't be able to clip all of your hair in it if you have thick or long hair, but they're still cute for half up or shorter hair! Really nice! It looks exactly like the picture, but when I measured it, it was 3 inches short. That didn't bother me because the look is even better! They smelled bad right out of the package, but after 4 hours in a bucket with soap and water, the odor was gone.
