I've only had these for about a month and a half, and the color is already peeling and flaking. I believe they don't handle heat well, because the color on my pink one began to fade. They're transparent on the inside. Most of them are hidden by my hair, but I'm not sure how long they'll last.
Item works well with my thick hair and is comparable to Goody products, which I usually purchase at CVS. If I don't get the right ones, the clip won't be able to hold my thick hair. I put it on every day, from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. It can keep a tight grip, which is nice; I've only had it for about two weeks, so we'll see how long it lasts, but so far so good. They appear to be well-made and durable. It didn't break or fall apart when I dropped it on the floor, and none of the teeth fell out.
