For a long time, I've adored the scent of Coty Vanilla Musk. I usually purchase the 1oz spray and am completely satisfied, so when I saw the larger bottle, I thought it was a fantastic deal. I actually went all out and bought two. But it looked and smelt completely different when I got it! It didn't appeal to me in the least! I would have returned it, but Amazon will not accept it. Such a letdown.

There are better vanillas on the market. Sigh. This isn't what I was expecting. My preferred high-speed mode of transportation I've been looking for a replacement for the end vanilla scent since it was discontinued. I found a few that are fantastic, but the prices are quite high (even higher than my previous high-priced high-end high-end high-end high-end high-end high-end high-end high-end high end one). I came across a review for this scent and it brought back memories of my high school years. Because the price was right, I decided to buy it on Amazon without first trying it in a store, which was a mistake because it isn't the scent I remembered. This isn't the fault of the product; according to what I've read, it hasn't been reformulated. Some reviews claim that shaking the bottle will mix it up and make it smell better, but that isn't appropriate for a perfume. While this is a reasonably priced perfume, $18 is $18 when you will never wear it and there are no returns available. I'll see if I can find someone who enjoys it and give it to them; I simply did not do so.
This is a wonderful fragrance! Also, it isn't just "for women. " Years ago, I used a product called "Raw Vanilla for Men," which has since been discontinued, and I've been using this in its place for the past few years. Coty's vanilla extract has the most pleasant scent of any vanilla extract I've tried. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the distinct aroma of a good clean raw vanilla extract, which is not overpoweringly perfumey but simply intoxicating. This is also available here for a reasonable price, and a little goes a long way with this.
The scent of Coty Vanilla Musk Spray is always pleasant. It's not overpowering in the least. This scent has been a favorite of mine for many years, and it is now being used by some of my granddaughters. Strangers have approached me and asked, "What are you wearing?" This scent is how people recognize me. Love it. I'm ordering it for the first time on the internet. Some argue that it isn't comparable. I'll see how things turn out.
