I'm not sure how long it will last. Mine have been in my possession for a year and are still in excellent condition.
If you're wondering if you need to use a lot of pressure to file your nails, the answer is no; they'll do it quickly and smoothly.
Both sides have the same "ultra fine" grit.
They're a quick shaping file, but using them to buff your nailbed will quickly thin and damage your nails; don't do it! Instead, I'd suggest using a buffer to add shine. These are designed for quickly shaping your nails by filing away the excess material.

great! I received an expensive czech glass nail file as a gift a few years ago, and it served me well until it slipped out of its stretched-out case. The case was broken on a hard floor 12 years later. For real, I cried. I made the mistake of purchasing another glass file without first inspecting it, assuming it would be identical. No dice; it was glass with grit attached to it, similar to sandpaper. Awful! When I saw these files on Amazon, I took a chance and ordered two sets, one for traveling and the other for home, hoping they'd be as good as the original, and I wasn't disappointed. This is fantastic! Not only is the glass textured, but it is also grit-coated. Filing your nails becomes a pleasurable experience because you can achieve a flawless, catch-all finish. It is very simple to get a free nail tip. Each of the three files comes with its own protective case. They're also a cinch to use! Every penny was well spent!.
This is exactly what I was looking for. The crystal grain is finer than any emory board or metal file I've ever used, but because it's made of glass, it won't wear down against thick nails, leaving mine with perfectly shaped edges instead of the shredded or sharp edges that other files can leave. All of my needs are met by the three peaches - full- one for my at-home (size 7") The little guy (three inches) fits in my wallet, the middle (five inches) in my travel kit, and the middle (five inches) in my home nail care bag. The microfiber sleeves make it simple to keep these clean and store them safely, even near items that might scuff them otherwise. The part of the handle that protrudes from the sleeve has a smooth surface. br>br>I haven't had these long enough to comment on the sleeves' durability, but I'll update this if anything comes up. If that's not the case, assume they're still in excellent condition. If you've been upgrading files over and over in search of the holy grail, you're not alone. That concludes the discussion. Get 'em!.
I'm a guitarist, so I needed high-quality files to keep my nails in good shape while performing. Crystal nail files were highly recommended for nail upkeep, according to what I had read. I received the files, and they looked exactly like the picture, but they weren't in a velvet pouch, didn't have any Mont Bleu markings, and it didn't matter whether they were tempered glass or not because they wore out in less than a week! At all costs, stay away!.
Because I have extremely hard, strong nails, I tend to wear down my files quickly, regardless of whether they're plastic, metal, glass, or other materials. For example, I recently purchased a glass file from Sally Beauty, and the rough part wore off after only a few uses. I was hesitant to buy these at first, but after several weeks of use, I can confidently say that they have not worn out. I just filed all of my fingernails today and then washed the file to see if it was worn. This leads me to believe that the rough part of the file is etched from the glass rather than fused to it, as many glass files are. I adore these files because they eliminate the need to cut and file my nails separately. I've been filing my nails exclusively since getting this set, and they're much smoother as a result. I'm going to buy a second set so I can keep them in different places. br>br>Buy this set for yourself. It will not be a mistake! br>br>Date of last update (February 26, 2020): br>I've purchased two sets of these and continue to enjoy them. My nails haven't needed to be trimmed in a long time. Simply place them in the appropriate folder.
They're quite lovely. However, the grit is so fine that it does not even file. br>Moreover, it does not go to the edge, so if you want to file the edges of your nails along the nailbed, these will not work.
This is where the big file comes in handy. I do have to rinse the file between my paws to remove nail debris, but otherwise, I'm very pleased. I was also able to smooth out some of the splitting and cracking that had occurred as a result of running on the blacktop. My nails look great with the smaller ones. These seem like they'll last a long time, and I'd buy them again if I lost or broke them. I'm thinking about using the small file on my cat.
I've tried a lot of them at 55 years old. These have a gentle effect on the nails. Despite this, you do an excellent job of filing. A lot of nail files break or damage the nail. For a long time, I've had issues with this. For a long time, I've been searching for the right file. Emery boards are too rough, even at the lowest "gradient," so I looked it up on the internet: "What is the best nail file for avoiding nail damage?" It was discovered that there were glass files. Then there are those who are unique. with a lot of positive feedback. Now I've found what I've been looking for! They're also available in three different sizes (as shown in the photo). & It's so handy! ) the color is BEAUTIFUL (at least the one I chose) It's fantastic that each file comes with a case! Thank you very much. I'll buy from you again without a doubt. as soon as possible!.
