I have always used them when I go to my pedicurist! Many of the reviews I have read claim that they disintegrate when used. It doesn't make a difference if they disintegrate or shed, but they shed some. The reason for this is that pumice stones are made for skin, not for scrubbing your toilets. The pedicure feet are intended to be used wet and on wet feet, exactly like a pedicurist would. In order for this to work, the product must be wet or on dry feet. This isn't the right way to do it. As a result, my feet get rough because I walk barefoot many hours a day, indoors and out. Pedis have been a problem for me for a while It was the perfect gadgets, but I spent way too much money on them, then nothing worked. My feet get dry all the time, so I use this every day when I shower, maybe one minute per foot, and it works EXCELLENTLY! Those scratchy feet that snare on my sheets at night are history. My heels will never crack again!.

I find them to be cheaper on here than in the store, and they work just as well as the stuff in the store. I usually use them on my skin but I use them for my car instead.
