I was hesitant to purchase it because I didn't believe I could do my own nails. I assumed I wouldn't use it once the salons opened. I decided to get my nails done after the salons in California finally opened. The wait was extremely long, and the prices had risen. I walked out of the salon and went straight to Amazon to purchase this kit. Let me begin by saying that I adore it. I did my mother's and sister's nails, and they both thought they looked great. Using it is a breeze!.

The nail polish bottles are slightly smaller than average, but there are SIX colors, a base coat, a matte top coat, and a shiny top coat included. I set the UV light to 120 seconds (as other reviews suggested) and the polish cured perfectly. I work as a nurse, so I always wash my hands, and I haven't had a chip in a week. It was well worth the money. This is a product I strongly recommend.

1/13/21- For the time being, I'll give this a five-star rating! First and foremost, it arrived quickly, with everything that was supposed to be in the box; the only flaw was that one of the polishes had leaked slightly, but this was minor and easily remedied with a little polish remover. So, first and foremost, let me say that this kit is NICE. The quality of the products is far better than I anticipated, and it was all very simple to use, especially for the price. (This is coming from someone who can do her own nails reasonably well. ) The kit came with two small pamphlets on how to use the products properly and efficiently, as well as how to use the LED lamp properly and efficiently. The Q&A session proved to be extremely beneficial and instructive. If you have any questions about what to do if your manicure doesn't turn out right, read this first so you know what to do and what not to do. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase, and only time will tell how long the manicure will last! br>br>2/11/21 UPDATE: My star rating has been increased to three. In the month that I've had this kit, I've done a few manicures on myself, and I have to say- Manicures, on the other hand, only last a week at most. My pedicure lasted for weeks, but manicures did not. The polish begins to peel away from the nail around the cuticle area after about 4 or 5 days. Overall, this kit is excellent for a short-term gel manicure that looks great for the first few days. However, unfortunately, the wear time does not last.

The photo above was taken one week after the application. There are no chips or cracks in the material. The top coat has lost some luster, but I've used my hands to scrub dishes, scrub bathroom tile, and perform a variety of other heavy-duty tasks. This polish has held up well over time. I stopped getting professional gel manicures because they always cracked or lifted away from my cuticles just a few days later. For someone with little or no experience (like me! ), these items stay put and are extremely simple to use. Tips: br>br>
1. ) Let each coat cure for 120 seconds. Although it will take longer, you will not have to worry about the polish smudging or bubbling. Patience is the key to success.
2. ) Roughen up your nail by buffing it as much as possible. Before applying the base coat, I also used rubbing alcohol to remove any excess oil from the nail. br>3 ) Your best friend is a thin coat. Unless your nails are extremely long, you don't need a lot of polish to cover them. br>4. ) If you have polish on your nail's edges or creases, wait until the top coat is applied and cured before applying the top coat. For a clean finish, file down the edges of your nail. br>br>I've already placed an order for another set of polishes and can't wait to try them all!.

I enjoy getting my nails done but can't afford to go every couple of weeks, and regular polishes chip so quickly on me that they're almost a waste of time, so I bought this kit when it was on a daily deal and selected the grey polishes. I prepared my nails properly and followed the instructions for applying the base coat, light, and 2-in-1. Light polish with three light coats and a light top coat. I think I used the light for about 2 minutes per coat just to make sure it was completely dry. My nails were completely dry, hardened, and looked fantastic. The first attempt lasted 10 days before one nail chipped (due to some polish getting on the cuticle, which caused it to peel), and the rest of the nails lasted two weeks. I removed the polish and did another manicure, and my nails have been chip-free for ten days now. With the exception of the nail growth, they appear to have just been done. I'm so excited that I'm already looking for more Beetles gel polish color sets.

My new Beetles Nail Polish Starter Kit made me very happy. The polishes were of a good size, had lovely colors, and were simple to apply. I usually struggle to keep nail polish on my nails, but the Beetles Gel Polish does not. While working in an office environment, my new gel nails give me a professional appearance. For a busy woman on the go, being able to maintain them at home gives me more time. They dry quickly, so I don't have to sit and wait for long periods of time. Having a bonus tool and vitamin bag is also a plus. The nourishing nail pen set was an ideal addition to the Starter Kit. I would strongly advise others to use this product.
