This is what I use to strengthen my natural nails. This is how I put it to work for me. I sand my nail lightly with 8oo grit sand paper and wipe the nail clean with 50% isopropyl alcohol (to clean and remove oil from nail). Apply a good nail glue (not kiss glue, as it won't last long) and then dip the nail into powder. I do each nail three times (depending on the strength of your nails), then wait about half an hour for them to harden before sanding them smooth. Once a month, I re-seed the new grow area. I've been using this technique for 5 years and it continues to work for me. TIP: If you enjoy this method, I recommend investing in an electric nail manicurer; I paid $16 for a Vogue on Amazon. , its so. a lot faster than sanding and polishing the nail by hand
Yes, in my opinion, this acrylic powder is the best; I've tried many brands and this one has worked the best for me in terms of ease of application, durability (for a long-lasting manicure), and ease of filing. without chipping the shape!
Yes, but depending on how much liquid you have, it can run over the sides of your nail if you don't hold your nail down towards gravity. This is a great product to use before going to the professional stuff; it helped me improve my skills significantly. This was my first time working with acrylics.
Other chemicals, such as polomer and monomer, are not acceptable. It's similar to butter, but with a finer grain that goes on super smooth. It starts with a brush-on base, followed by an activator, and finally a top coat in step three. Although the process is similar and much simpler, it is not the same. Although it could technically be used as a traditional acrylic brush, I would not recommend it.

I was really excited to try this out at first because of all the positive reviews, so I ordered it a few weeks ago and waited until my clear powder ran out before opening it. I noticed clumps and an unusual consistency as soon as I opened it. It's barely usable, as I discovered when I tried it. I'm very disappointed in this purchase because I've purchased many Mia Secret products in the past and they've all been excellent. I'm hoping to find out why this occurred.
This is a good place to start if you're new to acrylic painting. In comparison to what I had previously (the other product was extremely grainy, but this was fine and smooth), the consistency is excellent, and the quantity is sufficient.
I'd classify myself as an intermediate beginner, and I believe the ratio is very beginner-friendly. friendly, and it takes some time to set up, which can be beneficial or detrimental depending on who you are or what you're doing. 8 oz is a lot of product, and yes, it is completely clear. Some people claim it's cloudy or bubbly, but they may have received a bad batch, not used the correct monomer, or simply don't understand how to use it properly. And I'm not trying to brag or anything; I just wanted to show how clear it is by including a photo of my cracked ice nails. In addition, the size comparison photos are of the 1oz mia secret white (left) and the 2oz clear (right). br>br>I'd recommend Mia Secret to beginners because it's high-quality and you won't be spending a lot of money on something you don't know how to use.
I'm in love with this powder! It's ideal for beginners because it's so simple to use. It's also fantastic for combining with other ingredients, such as sparkles, to make your own powders! It's also fantastic on its own! I made a set with clear and sparkles, which you can see in the attached photo! My ring finger has it, and my pointer finger has an ombre version of it.
I've been ordering Mia for about a year and a half and have never had an issue until this batch. How humiliating would it be if all of the clients whose nails you did with this batch returned a week later with NO NAILS? (My clients have gone as long as 7 weeks without lifting or taking breaks) I even put it to the test on myself, ordering a 4oz from the company I usually order from and applying it to one hand while doing this batch on the other. With the 8oz batch, I had two nails pop off two days later (the 8oz even smells different than the 4oz). All of my products are properly stored until they are ready to use, so there should be no reason unless I received a bad or counterfeit batch. I've learned my lesson and will only order from Mia Secret or a reputable company in the future. (Beauty1234) ordered a faulty batch.
This is a fantastic product.
I bite my nails and have been looking for a way to stop doing so, as well as avoiding getting acrylics done, which can harm your nails. All I have to say is that my nails have never looked better in the last 25 years. I used to hide my hands if I didn't have fake nails on because I thought they looked bad, but now I proudly display them. The end result is fantastic, and it's incredibly simple to put together. I use the glue I get from the drug store (small bottle with a brush) to apply two coats of paint to the picture. This item is a steal at only $20! You'll have it for at least a year because you'll get so much of it.
It's a breeze to work with acrylic powder. For beginners, I strongly suggest it. The Mia Secret collection as a whole is amazing. Because it's clear and not cloudy, it's ideal for encapsulation.
