I'm blown away. Mia Secret products are used to put people to sleep. I'd been using Young Nails monomer with Young Nails acrylic and it wasn't a good combination (despite the fact that they're supposed to be). I switched to Mia Secret monomer with Young Nails acrylic and the results were AMAZING. The only reason I gave it a four star rating is because I was expecting a larger bottle.

In terms of strength, it wasn't what I was looking for. Although the product works, as a seasoned Cosmetologist with over 24 years of experience, it lacks the strength I'm used to from other products. I'm used to using a strong liquid monomer to make rock-hard acrylic. In the end, it accomplishes the goal. For me, it's all about the gummie.

In general, I like the product (the real one, that is). It's understandable that my package arrived late. My product, on the other hand, was NOT SEALED IN ANY WAY. What guarantees do I have that this is the genuine article? Not to mention that the odor is WORSE than I remembered it being. This product will literally give you a head high just by smelling it. I'm undecided on how I feel about it.

I'll keep using this product because it's simple to use and costs less than other options. Because the smell can be quite strong, I recommend using it in a well-ventilated area.

I've had a hit-or-miss experience with these Mia secrets liquid monomers. I'll order one and it'll be fine, but when I reorder, it'll be defective, in the sense that it won't dry and will remain rubbery. I'll place another order and everything will be fine, but what if it's a bad batch this time? Seriously, what the hell is going on here? I seem to be limited to only two sellers, and I've bought bad batches from both of them, including the larger bottles. I really like Mia Secrets Monomer, but with everything going on, I'm thinking about trying something new. Ugh.

It's compatible with the rest of the Mia Secret line. I had to get this because a package with 4 colors was stolen as a reward, but I'm glad I got the 4oz instead because I'm clumsy (hahah) and it works so well I won't change it because it has a lower monomer cell that dissipates faster. However, it remains extremely powerful.

Also, this bottle is about the size of a coke can, but it's skinny. I'll let you know how it works with the acrylic powders once it arrives. UPDATE: It works well, but the smell grows stronger over time, so I wouldn't recommend using it indoors, such as in a room or somewhere without windows. An odorless monomer, on the other hand, sounds like a dream right now.
