Questions & Answers
No, the dip powder will dry naturally without the use of a nail lamp.
There's a clear pink that's very light pink. Also, there's a white powder I haven't tried yet that is most likely clear.
Top/base coat and activator are the only two items in some kits.
MODELONES Dip Powder contains Vitamin E and Calcium, which aids in the growth of stronger, healthier nails.

Worth it! On the negative side, there is terrible communication. Because of quarantine and the high cost and time commitment of having my nails done professionally, I decided to try nail dipping. This is the second time I've used it. Now that it's been three weeks, let's talk about what this doesn't do. It won't last a month, and it won't stay if you use your hands a lot, but it will last a lot longer than regular nail polish; it feels like gel nail polish, but it's a lot faster to apply (it took me about 45 minutes to do both hands from start to finish); and the colors in this kit are versatile and look really nice. They last me about 10 days because I work in an office (a lot of typing) and have a toddler. The only thing that irritates me is when hair gets stuck under my nail near the cuticle area as it grows. It's more than likely an application error rather than a product flaw. Overall, I'm pleased with the product. br>br>*UPDATE* This is primarily in regards to their customer service. About a week after receiving the product, I received a letter from them asking me to write a review and promising me a free gift in exchange. Why not? I was pleased with what I received. I gave the product four stars, and they emailed me to ask that I change it to five (something about how Amazon reviews work), so I did. After that, they started making excuses about needing order numbers and screenshots, so I sent them everything from my Amazon account, but it was always something new. They get a one-star rating because there's something fishy going on. I didn't care about the gift at all; I'd already told them I didn't want it, but it's the principle that counts. That was a complete lack of professionalism.
I knew there would be some learning involved when I purchased this kit. br>It was a pleasant surprise for me! The kit is EASY to use if you can paint your nails. br>The colors of the glitter are vibrant and last a long time. So far, I've added about 40 more colors. The jars are small, but because each manicure only requires a small amount of product, they will last a long time. br>Tips: br>Cuticles should be removed or pushed back. Nails that have been pre-cut and smoothed. br>Remove the shine from your natural nails with a light buffing. Make sure they're completely dry by wiping them with acetone or alcohol. br>In light coats, use the base liquid. (Before attempting, I watched YouTube tutorials. ) Do 2- 3 coats. br>Buff out the ridges and file smooth with a 100/180 grit file/block. br>At the end, apply a cuticle (or other good) oil to your cuticles. br>File, wipe, and seal the back edge with a clear polish if it "catches" or snags after a few days. br>If I do the above, I can get three weeks out of my polish. By that time, I'm usually looking for a new color. br>To remove them, I use clips and cotton balls soaked in acetone.
It's so easy to use. With electric nail drill and nail tips, it's a dream come true. To avoid wasting powder, I suggest purchasing a powder recycler. Although the powder containers appear small, they barely made a dent after I finished my nails (3 coats on each). I will buy again because this is a fantastic product. Also, I'd like to point out that I'm rough with my hands and have repeatedly struck them (ouch!). ) and they're still perfect and stay in place.
Years passed as I searched for nail polish that didn't chip, peel, or take an eternity to dry. I tried Beetle's gel polish, but it would peel after a few days no matter what I did. I ordered this set after reading numerous reviews on dip powder (mostly because I like teals and greens), but also because it did not require an LED or UV lamp. I'm completely smitten! I used three layers, and it feels very solid and dried quickly. I'll never use liquid nail polish again!.
The nails are completely dry after about a half-hour of work. A file and brush will be needed for dusting, and pure acetone, cotton balls, and foil will be required for removal. This is similar to gels, which have a long shelf life. There's no need for a dryer or a UV light. One minute is required to cure each coat. Before using the powder, make sure it is thoroughly mixed. br>Edit to add:br>After a week, the polish has broken down and can be easily removed. My nails, on the other hand, are unaffected. I wore a professional gel for a month, but my nails were in bad shape by the end.
The future of glow in the dark is exciting, and I enjoy seeing them glow at night or in dimly lit areas. The only issue I have is that there are no names on the colors, so you can't tell what they are. Two, the colors aren't as solid as they appear in the picture; instead, they are more transparent. Last but not least, the 2 in 1 base and top coat burns my eyes when I first open the bottle, and when used as a top coat, it leaves a dull and streaky finish; I have to use my beetles top coat to achieve the desired shine. Aside from those three flaws, it's a fantastic purchase. I would buy it again.
The finished nail is not the same color as the powder. Several of the blues and greens don't match the polish at all. I painted my nails in what was supposed to be a grass green but ended up with a green that was so dark it could have been black. The light blues are turquoise, which isn't a bad color, but it's not what you're looking for. br> As long as you prepare your nails properly, the powder is simple to use. You can't avoid nail prep if you don't want your nails to lift. The base and top coats are combined into one, followed by the activator. I use my phone's timer to set a one-minute timer. That seems to work best for me; there are some great colors in this set, but it's hit-or-miss. Overall, this is a set that I would not buy again.
A few of these have been tried by me. This one had by far the most glossy top coat, but, and this is a big but, they don't last: the top coat becomes almost like glass the next day, cracks, and chips off. Other kits stayed longer but didn't have a high gloss top coat, which I'm not an expert on. The colors are gorgeous, but I'm going to try a few different base and top coats to see what works best.
