The cost is too high I say just buy normal Epsom salt instead of this product as this seems to be taking advantage of Moms who will pretty much pay anything for some comfort and relief during this transition

Listed at $25. 18, this small bag is ridiculously expensive for such a small quantity. It smells good and adds nice flavor to the bath, but there is absolutely no reason it costs this much. I'd say you would get about two baths out of this if you wanted it to be concentrated enough to be of any use. Epsom salt can be purchased at bulk warehouses for a fraction of the cost and you can add any oil you like to get the same effect as by sitting in a hot tub. As for the effects of this, it is no more or less effective than basic epsom salt.

This is an excellent gift for a new mother. When my girlfriend returned home from delivering our first child, I bought this for her. It was recommended by hospital staff as very helpful in the healing process. Epsom salts in their plain form will also work

After giving birth, my lady parts felt much better after using this product. I'm not sure I needed one specific to postpartum since none of the ingredients are particularly unique. If you do decide to buy Epsom salts, you could save your money.
