No bar is visible, but there is a slight bump in the center because of the material's tighter knit. As long as I fold up a thick blanket and put it underneath the sleeping bag, my son sleeps just fine.

Taking it on a trip is fine

It was awesome for the first few times we used it, but then it became disappointing after that. I don't remember how high it used to be when I first used it, but by the fourth time I flattened it. it for children under 2 or 3 years old that are in the terrible twos or that jump on beds a lot. The overall impression I get from my daughter is that she likes it. However, she loves.

3 stars to this product because it's convenient to carry around if your kid is going to have a sleepover or something kind of like that, not that light but I think it's ok in terms of weight. However, even with extra padding on it, it is uncomfortable to lie on because of the bars along the sides. The money I spent on it was well spent.
