This is the new cup holder, which is a million times better than the previous one! It comfortably holds my large dunking iced tea cup, as well as a bottle of water and my son's cup on occasion. This is an excellent cup holder. My only issue with it, which you will have for any cup holder, is that it sticks out a little on the side of the stroller, not as much as the wheels, but enough to be noticeable. I use it on both my Vista and Cruz strollers, leaving the adapters on the strollers so that I can easily move the cupholder between them. You don't have to take it off to fold it up with the stroller.
Only the outside, I believe.
This is the most recent version of the UB cup holder.
Yes, it attaches to the stroller by sliding on and off a clip.

I love our Uppababy Vista in general, but I'm kicking myself for spending $25 on this cheap cup holder. It not only wobbles a lot when installed, especially with tall cups or bottles, but it also doesn't click in properly. In our case, the cup holder flew off while we were boarding the train with a stroller on track 17 at Penn Station, and that was the end of it. I can't believe I paid $25 for this garbage.
We adore our Uppababy Vista stroller, but the lack of a cupholder was the only drawback we encountered in the first few weeks. We started with the "parent organizer," but my Starbucks spilled all over it, and I didn't think it was very study. This cupholder was purchased and I am very pleased with it - It can hold coffee cups and small water bottles and can be left in place when the base is folded. It makes the stroller a few inches wider and a little more difficult to maneuver, but you get used to it. I find it absurd that the cupholder is an add-on to the stroller's price.
The previous version received poor reviews, so it's a good thing this one came out 5 months after I started using my stroller. In less than a minute, you'll have your new system up and running. It simply twists into the cup and snaps into the frame with one of the three parts included. It's incredibly simple to set up and maintain. Additionally, it appears to be long-lasting. Uppababy did a great job with the design update. Vista, Cruz, and Minu are all compatible with it.
Update: It was snapped. It's fine; I just don't care for it. Advantages: br>br> High-quality, long-lasting plastic that's simple to put together. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. I'd like to be able to put it on and take it off, but I don't think that's possible. It also holds narrower water bottles awkwardly, as I've noticed when it's holding one of these sizes (specifically, my 21-ounce water bottle). It squeaks in an oz Hydroflask. I don't believe, however, that a 32-year-old man can be trusted. A bottle of 8 oz. would suffice. br>br>Overall, it's an improvement over nothing, but it's not the best design. **Update. br>br> It snapped off due to the aforementioned inability to put it on and off, and now I have to decide whether to buy a new one with the same issue or find another way to hold my drink while I stroll.
Good quality, durable, and much better than the previous one. No worries about spilling anything on the stroller, and it's simple to set up and clean. Made by Uppababy, a company known for its excellent customer service.
I'm not sure what all the fuss is about this thing falling off or being difficult to remove and replace. That is not the case in my experience. You have to turn them all the way on, and I'm guessing that's why there are so many negative comments. It snaps on and off with the same ease. Mine is kept clean on a semi-regular basis in my house. My only gripe is that it can be difficult to keep clean - Liquid can get in between the two layers of plastic (the cup and the inner piece that is supposed to keep the cup steady). When my husband takes our baby to get me coffee in the morning (yes, he's the best), the coffee occasionally spills out and gets stuck in the cup holder's cracks. Because I can't scrub in between the two pieces, I have to take it off and soak it in soapy water. My guess is that over time, this will result in mold, but we'll have to wait and see.
It's a great cupholder, in my opinion. The cup falls down when you fold the stroller, according to the bad review, but I've never had that happen to me. It's well-made, of a good size, and simple to put together. Bix includes three different adapters for the Vista, Cruz, and Mini, so if you have a Vista, Cruz, or Mini, you can simply move the cup holder. br>At first, I used a different cup holder, which severely damaged the frame. I bought this cup holder when I replaced my frame and am very pleased with it. There will be no scratching!.
If you have an Uppababy stroller, you'll need this cupholder. It's simple to operate and includes adapters for various strollers. We have the 2017 Vista and Minu strollers, and because the adapters are different, we can use the same cupholder on both strollers without having to remove the adapters. When traveling/using a travel bag, it's simple to remove just the cupholder (without removing the adapters), but it also stays on so you can fold the stroller without taking it apart. We took it on our most recent vacation with the Minu, and it was simple to throw it in the Uppababy Minu travel bag with the stroller, rain cover, and mosquito net before boarding the plane so that everything was stowed together in the overhead compartment.
