The most important thing for small children

In the beginning, it looked as if it would be too short for the distance between my husband's arm and our small child, but after our test run at the farmers market, we found it to be perfect! He is a runner and he is fairly fast despite his small size, and this allows us to keep him close and safe without tripping him over like a backpack leash would. I really like the quality of this product! I really enjoy the comfort and sturdy feel of the wrist straps. Unlike other products with cords allowing children to easily disconnect the cord from adults (or anyone else), these come equipped with a lock and key.
I used my 5-year-old to model the size, but this would clearly fit my 1-year-old as well. 1 is the main application I see for this Three year olds who are independent, but need an extra level of The idea of taking the kids to the zoo or the mall would be awesome.
