I still dress my son in long sleeved shirts, pants, and shoes, but there's no need for a bulky coat. I'm not sure if it'll work for a baby, but I don't see why not - Any infant car seat can be used with it.
Yes, I have a Chicco Keyfit car seat that is compatible with it.
Yes. That's the car seat I have, and it's great (once the sunshade is removed). It's something I'd strongly advise you to try. One of the best gifts I gave my daughter (who was born in November) was this.

I used it on my Doona carseat stroller and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. br>KEEP THE BABY COMFORTABLE.
m. cocoon is perfect in every way. My baby is kept warm by simply putting her in the car seat with only her clothes and a warm blanket. However, because there is nothing in front of her, she does not sweat excessively (as she would in other car seat covers). Going out is a breeze. I don't have to second-guess myself because I don't have to deal with the hassle of "bundling up the baby. " The only thing I don't like about it is that I had to remove the canopy from my Doona, but I'm not taking away a star because A) I don't really need a canopy when I have this, and B) the baby is well protected. B) Other options for keeping the canopy on (wrap, Igloo, etc. ) are available at 7 a. m. Bonus: The white with fur is my absolute favorite. I've had a lot of positive feedback about how nice it looks. It's also easy to maintain. Because I haven't washed it yet and it's still perfectly white (baby is 2), it appears that the fabric is dirt resistant. a period of five months.
My son was a premiee and was born in the winter, so this product was perfect for me. It kept him toasty warm and complemented his car seat nicely. I got a lot of good feedback. I was relieved that it kept him hidden and prevented people from contacting him easily. After about four months, four of the teeth on one side of the zipper came loose, causing the zipper to completely unzip. Without the teeth, there's no way it'll ever work again. I'm upset because it won't be possible to fully cover my son's doctor visits any longer, especially given everything that has happened as a result of Covid.
This was purchased for my baby, who was born in September, to wear during the winter. It's been great so far, but it may overheat, as others have mentioned. My baby has been running a 98-degree fever. He was at 99 when we went to his two-month appointment, and he had been at 1 for all of his appointments. 1 - It was a two-minute walk to the car with this on the seat, then an eight-minute car ride with it unzipped but still on the seat, followed by a one-minute zipped visit to the pediatrician. He was taken out of the room in a matter of minutes and undressed for a few minutes before taking his temperature. I definitely recommend unzipping once in the car for short trips (and taking off seat for longer trips once the car heats up) and unzipping once inside because stretching on and off the seat is very easy. The product itself is fantastic- it does exactly what it says on the tin. It's especially useful because you can't buckle in with a jacket on, so I know he'll be warm in there even in cold winds and temperatures (we're in New Jersey, after all). You should be fine as long as you keep an eye on your child and only use when it is actually cold outside.
I really liked the way the product looked and felt right out of the box - which, in and of itself, I found appealing. The Heather Gray color complemented the black zippers and velcro perfectly. I'm using it on a 2019 Uppababy Mesa, and there's a small gap on both sides that allows air in due to the placement of the handles in relation to the actual seat (where the two are attached). I knew this going in because another reviewer mentioned it, but I went ahead and bought it anyway because this problem would exist with any similar product, and it's no longer a flaw in the product, but rather the reality of trying to marry this type of product with the Mesa car seat. The "Y" zipper design appealed to me because it allows the top part of the blanket to open up and flay out while the bottom part remained on the baby's lap like a blanket.
I have a Columbia fleece jacket, fleece beanie, and wool socks that I put on my baby and zip all the way up because we have to walk about 3 minutes from daycare to home at 6pm at night when it's dark, and he stays safe and warm in this while walking outside, and I usually cover the stroller cover when it's windy. The car seat is very simple to install; it just slips on, and the peek-a-boo window allows your baby to see out while still allowing for proper airflow.
This is the second time we've had a cocoon at 7 a. m. I'm completely enamored with it! It keeps my baby warm without the risk of blankets falling off or getting in his face. br>br>This is our second purchase because we had to replace our first one after realizing the elastic had worn out after two years of storage. Otherwise, I'd give it a five-star rating.
This is fantastic! I've had two other baby carrier covers before, and this one is my favorite; the JJ Cole Bundle Me I bought isn't safe for the car seat. Later, I discovered this through a blog, and I realized it didn't fit in at all. For my first daughter, I used the JJ Cole Seat Cover, which I liked. However, she always needed an extra blanket to go with it, and the flap was always in her way. I've been using the 7am Enfant for a few weeks and love how simple it is to use and how warm my baby remains!.
