Yes. My Nissan Versa doesn't have adjustable headrests, but it will definitely work. This mirror appeals to me.
Yes, that is how I have it set up. Because it's convex, the field of vision is improved. Simply select a headrest and adjust the mirror to allow visibility of both car seats.

I assumed this would be safe because it is secured to the seat and will not fall off in the event of an accident. The base of it stayed on the seat, but the frame and mirror flew off in the direction of my backward-facing child! I was not in the car at the time of the accident, but I discovered the mirror in front of the second row and the frame behind the second row in the back. My Honda Odyssey was totaled in the accident, but thanks to properly installed and used car seats, all of my children were unharmed. I'm going to replace all of the car seats, but I'm not going to buy a new one! This could have been extremely harmful to my child!.
I was involved in an accident in which I rear-ended a car traveling at about 20 miles per hour. The mirror's base stayed buckled to the headrest, but the mirror itself snapped off and flew into my rear-facing carseat, where it was discovered with the plastic mirror shattered into radiating shards starting at the cent of the mirror. My child would have been severely cut up if she had been in the carseat, and she could have also suffered other injuries like a broken nose or worse. This is the last rear-facing baby mirror I'll ever use.
My baby's car seat is in the middle of the second row of my 2001 Ford Expedition, which does not have a latch system or a middle headrest. I don't have anywhere to connect a mirror because there is a third row. For my baby shower, I received a mirror that I was unable to use. This one caught my eye when I went online. It performs admirably. I've secured it to the car seat headrest, which is located directly behind the driver's seat and is angled so that I can see her in the middle seat. I can see her face just as clearly as if the camera were mounted directly above her. It doesn't move or shake, and it doesn't need to be repositioned. I enjoy being able to see my child while driving. She's the baby who cries hysterically every time we go for a drive, so knowing she's safe gives me peace of mind. br>(In this photo, the caterpillar is blocking the baby's face, but the detail of her hand and chest strap can still be seen. ) This photo was taken to serve as a mounting reference. ).
For the past two and a half years, we've had this mirror. The straps kept coming undone, and the rotating ball in the back wasn't secure enough to keep the mirror at the desired angle, so it kept moving. The mirror's straps were also not strong enough to hold it in place and would come loose. Keeping my baby in sight was extremely difficult. It was extremely inconvenient to have to get out of the car to adjust the mirrors on a regular basis! Furthermore, one of the holes where the straps thread into broke a few months ago, rendering the mirror useless because there is no way to reconnect the strap. I didn't want to have to buy a new mirror after such a long time, but it's never worked properly before. I suppose what you pay for is what you get. NOT SUGGESTED!.
This is the third mirror we've tried, and it'll be the last. Because our rear-facing car seat is in the middle of the back seat, there's no headrest, and the other mirrors we tried (Brica) were "apparently" supposed to work without one, but they didn't work out at all, and both fell over within minutes. After dozens of failed attempts to keep them up, we came across this one on Amazon. It attaches to the adjacent headrest (via two buckle straps) and pivots in any direction you want. You can change the angle in any direction you want. It's never come undone, but I do give the straps a quick tug every two weeks or so to make sure they're secure. So far, we've had success with this mirror in the following vehicles:
- Hyundai Sonata (2006 model)br>- Hyundai Santa Fe (2007 model)br>- Ford F150 (2008 model)br>- '11 Chevy Equinoxbr>br>Hope this information is useful!.
br>If headrest is in a high position, it may block view out the back window when looking through rear-view mirror. view mirrorbr>It's easy to lose focus on driving when you're distracted by your adorable little one. br>br>Thoughts: I enjoy having the ability to look back. Take a look in the mirror and see my little one! It's reassuring to know that you're in good hands. When I look out the back window, I had to adjust the headrest down so that it didn't block the view. observe yourself in the mirror On that side of the car, I noticed it was difficult to see cars approaching from behind, which is extremely dangerous. So now it's set up so that when I look in the rearview mirror, I can't see the mirror. look in the mirror as usual; Instead, I'll have to sit up a little higher to see my child. It's just a minor tweak to keep us both safe on the road.
I'm glad my child wasn't in the car seat the second time because it just fell out of nowhere.
Another mom in one of my mom groups recommended this mirror to me, and it's perfect! It tilts just enough for me to get a perfect view of him. I would strongly suggest it.
