I have a 2016 Honda Pilot, and I needed a kickmat to protect the backs of my leather seats from salt residue during the winter. These are ideal for use as a barrier. The mat is only a heavy-duty protective sheet and is not padded. The mat is approximately 25" tall by 19" wide, with each of the three pockets measuring 5 3/4" tall by 6" wide. A 5 oz Medela bottle is a tight fit, but a Go-Pro camera is a good fit. I don't have to worry about sitting on a buckle because both the top and bottom straps clip together to one side. The top and bottom straps can both be adjusted. The top strap measures approximately 18 inches in length (1 1/2" on the short side, 15 1/2" on the long side, 1" buckle) and can be shortened to fit your needs. The length of the bottom strap varies between 26 1/2 and 49 inches (1 1/2" strap on the short side, 24" to 46 1/2" on the long adjustable side, 1" buckle). Because the back of my pilot seat gap is covered, there are no holes for the loops to go through, I was unable to use the bottom loop stabilizers. The mats, on the other hand, appear to work just fine without the loops. The loops go in if the vehicle allows it. The strap must be threaded through the loops on the front of the front seat before it can be buckled between the back and bottom of the seat. However, I was able to tuck the front of the back strap into the gap between the seat and avoid having to sit on it. I deducted a star because there was no suitable location for the top strap's extra length. I'll tie it up with a velcro tie so it doesn't dangle and tickle me on a long journey.

Our Honda Pilot 2011 seats are too big for the bottom strap to fit. Not by a long shot. I did send an email to the company to inquire about a strap extender. That same day (on a weekend), I received an email response, and a few days later, I received an extender strap in the mail. Unfortunately, only one strap was sent (which is ineffective when using two seat protectors), and the extender strap did not fit the protector's strap. There were two different sizes of clasps. Seat protectors are a nice idea, but they'll be useless if I can't get the bottom straps to fit around my seats.

Customer service is outstanding! The customer service was excellent. They were quick to respond to my questions. The item is of good quality and performs as expected. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because one of them ripped - My daughter used them to pull herself up into the car, not because they were of poor quality; on the contrary, they were of excellent quality. One of the pockets began to tear after a few months of strong holding. I'm not disappointed because the abuse took longer than I expected, but it's hard for me to justify buying another because I know she'll abuse it again. When a product is, in my opinion, better than the average alternative solution, I give it a five-star rating (my initial review). Stars, in my opinion, are reserved for products that make it extremely difficult to find a better solution, even at a higher price, and these mats are superior to others I've tried, both in terms of quality and how snugly they fit against the seat.
