For the past few weeks, we've been using these. So far, I'm enjoying them. because they fulfill the function for which I bought them - keeping our filthy shoes off the backs of our seats I can't get them to lie flat against the back of the seat, which is the only problem I have. We have a 2015 Chevy Traverse, and no matter how hard I try to tighten and fit the top around the headrest correctly, there is always a large gaping area. I just wish I could get them to lie flat to the seat, because then when the kids put their sunglasses or other items in the pockets, I can't fold the seat up without taking everything out of the pockets, which squishes everything. BUT, in general, they serve a purpose, and I intend to keep them for that reason. Because we don't have to fold the seat very often, I can live with the gaping area and having to take things out of the pockets before folding it.
So I used this product on my light (wheat) color leather interior of my car, and after three months, I removed them to clean them, and it had stained my seats black. This is a brand new car, and I've taken it to a professional who has been unable to remove the stains. Everything has been tried. I'm not sure if it's the material, because my front seat cushions are black and don't have this problem. Basically, the protection I purchased to protect my brand new car has ruined it.
These are quite nice, and we're currently using one in the passenger seat of a 2014 Subaru Outback. It has excellent coverage on the back of the seat and has already halted what appears to be an 8-foot slide. In the first week of installation, the white interior of the car was marked by 10 dirty monster feet (aka 5 y/o little boy shoe). The pockets appear to be a nice touch, but when stuffed animals or toys are placed in them, the protector loses its rectangular shape and becomes more of an hour glass shape, as shown in the advertisement. It might be more useful if the top and sides were rigid. However, these were bought to protect the seats rather than for storage. and they're very good at it.
They easily fit over our car's seats. These are fantastic mats. They fit easily over the seats in our car and have withstood our children's kicking. They were effective in keeping dirt and mud off the car seats. Our kids adore the pockets, which allow them to store their books, kindles, and other items conveniently.
These were the ones I chose because they had large pockets for books, and my boys are always bringing books into the car. It's very simple to tuck them away in a flat, off-the-floor location. I have a Rav4 that I use for my daily commute. 4. The mats' tops are more squarish than the seats, which irritates my aesthetic sense. Overall, I like them a lot:.
If you don't want your car to smell like wet paint, don't expect to use it right away after opening the package. To get rid of the stench, it had to be washed three times and then aired out for a week between each cleaning. That's three weeks of hanging it outside 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and three loads of laundry. Cycles with no water.
These were simple to install and my husband is pleased with them. In the follow-up email, the company included some reward charts, which I really like. It appears to be a fantastic firm.
These matts are fantastic. The material is extremely durable. The pockets are ideal for storing small toys. The only thing that could make it better is if the top section had a strap around the seat like the bottom section. If you have anything in your pockets, they tend to hang.
