Questions & Answers

Do you find it works well in the heat of summer? What happens when baby sweats? Will he stay cool or become a ?

Air conditioning allows you to stay indoors and keep cool It works perfectly for conditioning. My baby was born in June and I started using it a few weeks ago, and she hasn't sweated a bit. During the time that I work on the computer and do household chores, she sleeps very well in it for hours on end. It has never been worn outside to attest to how hot it will be for babies outside of their homes, but I have not used it that way.

The daughter-in-law of my sister is expecting her first child. She has a right arm amputation. Will she be able to take off and put on the equipment, and adjust, and put the baby in ?

This would probably be determined by where the amputation took place on the arm and how long ago the arm was amputated. Depending on how old the surgery is and how far into her rehab she is, she might be able to get used to it if it's below the elbow. Having said that, if you have just had an amputation above the elbow or more recently, I wouldn't recommend that sling, or really any sling at all. A carrier might be the best choice instead.

What would it be like to fit twins ?

It is possible to wear more than one baby at one time in a wrap carrier. Having found the right tightness of the wrap, I'm sure you can fit both babies comfortably. Your babies and you might have to try a couple of different positions before you find the one that works for you both.

The size I am postpartum is 16/18. I am 5'8" and weigh 120 pounds. How would this fit someone with a 42DDDD bust? This wrap does not have a size like some others?

Despite having a different wrap, I am almost the same size as you are. In that case, just tie it behind your back instead of trying it on the front after you've crossed it on your shoulders and stomach.

That is my third purchase of a carrier and I love it so much! The size 6 pair of shoes I wear is 146lbs 5'4" With an 8 in the pants, you need an 8 in the shirt
5/5

I wore it when my 5-pound baby wore it, and it fit perfectly. Not too This may not be long enough for you if you are plus size! I had read other reviews who talked about having lots of slack and I actually did not have any. The baby carrier I am using is my third. There is a baby Bjorn and a baby K'tan in my family. As a result of the other ones hurting my back, I bought this one. Here are a few tips if you are on the hunt for the perfect carrier Wrapping it up, here's what we have to say The pros are I'm able to customize the size and adjust it to fit me just the way I need it to. It is a soft and stretchy material. This material is about as light weight as you can get while still being sturdy. It is so lovely to hold a baby! A hot humid summer day is going to make you and your baby sweat regardless of the wrap you are wearing. Standing outside with your baby on a hot day and just holding him will make you I think the price is very reasonable in comparison with others! It was totally worth it for the benefit of having hands free for an hour or two. The cons are If it can be put on without it hitting the ground, I don't know how to do it. Since I wear it mainly at home, it isn't an issue for me, but I thought you should be As far as the other carriers are concerned, here's my take I'm a baby. 'K'tan was okay, but I didn't like the back pain. It worked, but left me sore for days afterwards. Having two loops of fabric meet in the center of my back creates an unpleasant lump. There is not much lumbar support (trust me I have tried every way possible to make it This is all I used with my first baby) The fabric is hot and not very Additionally, I was never able to maintain the tension in the middle wrap. I never felt like there was a risk of falling. I just felt The k'tan is a little easier to use but honestly if you already know how to do k'tan you can use this wrap! So if you want a wrap type carrier, then this is what you want to get. The thing I didn’t like about Baby Bjorn is I have a bad backache from it. You are left to carry all of the burden. Wearing a backpack backwards is like wearing a new pair of shoes. Because it is so easy to wear, I want to love it, but I can only wear it for a short time. My first one was really comfortable for a long time, but I think he just wore on my back so much that my second one needs a bit One thing I love about the Baby Bjorn that makes it different from fabric baby wraps is the head support. I no longer have to lift my baby's head while bending over (I still do it instinctively but you do not My back has been hurting so much since I started using this carrier that bending over becomes With my first child, I like that I can turn him around and face outwards when the tall part of his crib lays flat. My favorite way to alternate a fabric wrap like this one with the baby bjorn is to have them both. There is no doubt that this one will replace the k'tan entirely. This is my favorite carrier by far, and I highly recommend it I hope this gives you a starting point in your search for a.

The wrap is made of a stretchy material
5/5

As well as this, I have a moby and a solly wrap, as well as a baby bijorn and an Ergo My go to wrap because of the stretch and the fact that it feels like a thick sweat shirt or a tee shirt This is the material of the shirt. Our home is in Southern California and the moby is thicker, which is nice if it starts getting cold. Our Indian summer was perfect because the Solly was 80-degrees when we were there I would rate this item 90° since it is so thin, but its material has no stretch and felt loose after an hour. My height is 5'5", and my size is 2 The bottom of the pair has a lot of extra material to hang once it's tied, so if you have a large waistline, the longer bottom would be more comfortable. If you wish to knot your knot once it has been tied, make sure you have enough fabric. Overall, a great purchase, but we wish it was made by a smaller company, such as Solly, Wildbird, or Sakura Bloom if you're looking to shop small and support the American economy. I like this for its price, but otherwise I don't like it.

A plush shirt that is more comfortable than a soft shirt It's structured, but has less support
4/5

This is the third carrier we have (the other two are Baby Bjorn and The Bambini and Me was the very first one we bought, and I actually like it a lot more than our SSCs (though my fiancee prefers it). I had some thoughts
I am - In addition to its length, I have a problem with the way it pools at my feet at first. I'm not a tall person by any means and my feet are below the material on the floor on the first step. When I'm standing in the Target parking lot on a rainy day about to transfer my son from his car seat to the wrap, this is fine at home, but less so when I'm out and about. Although, I have no idea what would be an alternative to this. In this case, the length is right. There's no need to worry about it being too My problem is more that I'm short. There is just an unfortunate fact that it's an awkward thing I guess - shrug The process of becoming good at it took a lot of practice. It wasn't tight enough the first few times I wore it, which caused my 7 lb. son, who was 7 inches tall, to droop downward with the weight. Usually he would start high enough that I could kiss him on the top of his head. By the time he was half an hour old, he had gone down three to four inches. I am - There are several videos on YouTube that demonstrate how to tie this. They make it look so simple to adjust the The problem, however, is that it can be a challenge! How I got my son to sleep by himself in the B&B I got him in the pool, bounced him around for a few minutes, and then once he calmed down, tucked his head to one side and covered it a little bit with I had a colicky baby, so it may have been less painful for other babies, but for me and my child, my baby would go through it every morning. I am - A small amount of muscle soreness may result if you fail to distribute the cloth evenly. A day after my shoulder started hurting from getting the cloth on one shoulder bunched up, I had a bad case of a stiff neck. My heart still hurts when I think I am - Although I really like the wrap, I don't know why. The closeness I feel to my son when he is in it is wonderful. His face is just right at my level, and I like the way his soft, comfy hoodie feels against my skin. Like breastfeeding, I get the feeling when I do this. I feel that this is the right thing to do. I am - like the fact that it's easy to use. On SSCs, I always feel as if I have too many straps and harnesses and I am constantly worried I will The wrap is so easy to use that once you get used to it, it's very hard to forget what you're doing. I am - In times when your baby is going through a growth spurt or a developmental phase and is extra clingy, this app is a lifesaver. It's serious when I say that my son is only four months old. If I didn't have this wrap, I wouldn't know what to do.

If you learn how to use it, you will save a lot of time! This wrap is better than my $60 Moby wrap, so I returned my $60 wrap in hopes of getting better results with this one
5/5

Using the Moby wrap frustrated me because of how long it was and I felt like I wasted money if I didn't use it, so I looked for an alternative that was a better price. The wrap that I chose actually appeals to me more. There is a thin material so it does not get too hot, but it is also sturdy and keeps the baby warm, it is not as long as the Moby and is very My baby fell asleep immediately once I got the diaper on correctly and got her in it. It took me a few tries to get the baby in the diaper, but once she was in it, she immediately fell asleep. The only way I can accomplish anything around the house is by taking care of in-home needs. The tighter you get it the better your baby will be in it because it does start to sag after a while. I have yet to figure out how to breastfeed in it, but one step at a time. Highly recommend this over other brands, save your money.
