Questions & Answers
This is a doll carrier, not a real baby carrier. It is designed to accommodate 15 people. Only 18-inch dolls are available, and while it looks a lot like a mommy-size doll for a real baby, it is not approved or safe for living babies; it is only intended for play. In terms of the weight limit of the child WEARING the doll carrier, we have one that my daughter has been using since she was three years old, and she is still wearing her dolls in it now that she is six years old. If waist size is a concern, I'd say it's fairly expandable, and given the straps and buckles, even a fairly large child could wear it to carry their doll. A mother's Ergo Baby carrier for her baby usually costs $100 or more. I hope this information is useful.
The 5 inch width of the adult straps is a nice touch. So, just to be safe, I'd say 2 1/2-3 inches.
Will fit an AG baby, but it may be a tight fit for an AG girl.

I didn't read any reviews for this and it was for a child who was older. This was a Christmas present for my daughter. She is nine years old and stands tall in comparison to her peers. This fits her perfectly, and she's had a lot of fun carrying her dolls around in it so far.
She had hoped to get a Tula, but all of the cute patterns were sold out, so we found this on Amazon. I was concerned that it would be too small for her (she is 5'48" and 50 pounds), but it fits perfectly and has plenty of room for growth. She enjoys it so much that she wears her baby all day (including shopping, as you can see). I would definitely recommend this purchase because it is well made, has a cute pattern, was delivered quickly, and was a good price. She is very happy with it.
This is the sweetest little doll carrier I've ever seen! It was purchased for my granddaughter, who is two years old. She adores her children and now carries them everywhere with her, just like her mother. It's a little big for her because she's so petite, but she'll grow into it. Outstanding craftsmanship!.
While this is well-made and I'm confident it will last a long time, and I love the idea of my babies wearing their babies, it is extremely small. It swallows my 18-month-old daughter, who is quite small for her age. My 2. The average height and weight of a 5-year-old are both average. My four-year-old is the height and weight of a typical six-year-old with broad shoulders, so the straps fall off her shoulders, and the chest clip is by her belly button and does not adjust. He should definitely be able to pull this off. Even his shoulders are too narrow for the straps to stay on. Neither the straps nor the buckles cross. I was able to narrow the straps with some toy C clips (it's not like we have to worry about the dolls' safety), but even he 4 yo will need a lot of assistance putting it on. They adore it and use it all the time; my only wish is that it were a little bigger.
I'm currently expecting another child, and I've been trying to prepare my princess of a toddler daughter for the fact that there will soon be another baby in the house for the past few months. I bought this carrier for her because one of my baby carriers is an ergobaby that looks identical to this one, and my daughter adores having the same baby carrier as me. When we go for walks, she puts her dolls inside, and she even wants to wear it to the store. It's almost as if she adores it too much. I'm hoping we'll be able to wear matching carriers when her sister arrives, so she won't be as envious. Making one that looks exactly like the real thing is a fantastic idea!.
This was purchased in Marine for my three-year-old son. She likes it, but it's not the right fit for her. The straps are long enough to fit a small adult, but they would otherwise obstruct your view. Because the chest strap isn't adjustable up and down like on a real structured carrier/Ergo, when she back carries her dolls, the chest strap is at her stomach, and the shoulder straps are huge and almost fall off of her. I'm not pleased with myself. They could have easily made a chest strap that slid and shorter straps.
A larger doll, such as an 18" doll, could possibly fit in here, but a smaller baby doll could as well without slumping so low that it isn't visible. The baby doll slides into a panel on this mini Ergo (not directly against your child's shirt), but if the doll or stuffed animal doesn't fit in the panel, it can still sit in the Ergo like a real baby (directly against the wearer). br>This is the ideal present for any young girl about to become a big sister. She will feel more included if she can imitate Mommy and the new baby. Your little girl will look just like Mommy because the design is so similar to the adult-sized Ergos. br> This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
She had hoped to get a Tula, but all of the cute patterns were sold out, so we found this on Amazon. I was concerned that it would be too small for her (she is 5'46" and 50 pounds), but it fits perfectly and has plenty of room for growth. She enjoys it so much that she wears her baby all day (including shopping, as you can see). I would definitely recommend this purchase because it is well made, has a cute pattern, was delivered quickly, and was a good price. She is very happy with it.
