Questions & Answers

Is this something that goes on the diaper or can you dress up the baby in a onesie and put it on top? As an alternative The diaper is clipped to the top of the dress, then the baby is dressed?

It made me paranoid when I read in a review this left a blister on a baby, so I dressed my baby in a onesie and pants, clipped it to his pants and it seemed to work well.

I mean, it has a battery, and we're going to cover it with clothes, is it safe? I just wanted to express my concern. I appreciate your kind words! ?

The diaper that I used on my baby for almost a year was fine. However, I could understand why some people would object to this. that it got hot from use or anything like that.

Are these comfortable for someone who sleeps on their stomach?

One time, I added it to the back of my son's diaper when he fell asleep sleeping on his stomach and it worked just fine. He doesn't turn much while he sleeps yet, so I typically put it on his belly, but this one time it worked just fine.

Is there a place to clip it on a belly sleeper diaper?

Whenever I lay my baby on her back she flips from her back to her You could clip it right over the Velcro tabs on the front of the diaper (you could fold them over so it stays on). The clip stays on right over the Velcro tabs.

The sleep I'm getting now is much As a result of his reflux issues, my son gags whenever he is on his back
5/5

I am able to put him to sleep when I place him on his stomach. It lets me watch him sleep instead of watching him sleep every night. It caused me to try it on myself so I could find out why it's happening. was required to have my breath held and be perfectly still for it to sound an alarm. Watching it light up every time he takes a breath is so soothing. There have been no false alarms for me. He has only rolled over when the alarm has gone off. When I checked FSA eligibility after I purchased the device, I loved it even more. I saw a post where a baby got a blister from it being on the skin, so I always wear a thin onesie when it's on the skin.

I am able to sleep at night with it! As a result of using this item, I have peace of mind at night and am able to sleep well
5/5

This is my first time being a mom, and I'm paranoid. My young son has decided that he prefers to sleep on his stomach since very early on. Rolling onto the belly, but not back on to the back, was not allowed. It also means that I don't sleep through the night when he does. LOL The SNUZA has changed that. I constantly check to make sure he's still alive. Especially if your baby is an active sleeper, it is easy to get false alarms since the monitor is easily prone to coming loose. (That said, I don't mind the occasional false alarm as long as It can be a bit intense at first, but the second one is much less intense). By using an elastic band, we minimized false alarms. We cut the band off of a pair of his pants and clipped the monitor on to it. In spite of the fact that my son is big enough to pull off the monitor, for the most part he leaves it on. It is very low for the first alarm. The second alarm is loud enough to wake you up over the monitor, but I've never heard it when on a monitor. It seems that my baby doesn't wake up when the alarm goes off. LOL

This is why we chose this over an Owlet 1) There are no extra pieces (base, wires, plugs, There are only two pieces to this. The device is portable and runs on batteries. This monitor will still function even if the power goes out or if I don't have access to electricity. 2) No WiFi or Bluetooth access. 3) After 15 seconds, this alarm will notify you if your baby doesn't move. In the other brand, the oxygen levels are only detected when they reach dangerously low levels, by which time it is I can artificially provide oxygen to my baby with CPR within 15 seconds of its collapse if needed without allowing the oxygen levels to become too

4) I read about babies getting skin burns from the other brand.

We ordered this item through Amazon but it appeared used, so we returned it and bought one at a retail store instead.

This is like the continuous beeping, but it is much louder
3/5

There is a big baby boy in my family. The product was used for a period of about two weeks when he weighed between 13 and Although the Snuza is large, it cannot be handled. As you should be placing the product on your baby and keeping this on your chest (straight on your chest when you are standing), the pressure on your belly will be uncomfortable. The diaper has to be put over it, which is not convenient. As an alternative, we are now using a snap-on product that is much better than the previous product. It is not necessary to change diapers when swapping them. In addition, the clip is so large that it causes a gap between the skin and There is a flaw, and it may lead to overflow.

The pro is that you have a continuous signal to see if your baby is breathing, but the fact that the device cannot connect to a mobile phone is perceived as a disadvantage. It would be helpful if you could provide me with more statistics In summary, we returned the product and opted for a more convenient alternative that cost a little more.

Using a bedshare or sharing a room Taking a nap
5/5

I had previously purchased the Owlet monitor for my first child however, with my second, I was looking to do something different. My decision to purchase the Snuza Hero was based on extensive research. You shouldn't use it together with other drugs There is no shortage of opportunities for sleeping or bedsharing, but for us, it works well. In their opinion, there is no need to recommend it because the monitor might pick up movement from With us, this is not the case. As far as I can tell, it only registers her breathing movements. There is a good level of noise. Because she burped after I laid her back down, I accidentally moved the monitor. After I put her back down, the alarm sounded. The noise instantly woke me up, but the baby didn't seem scared at all. The product is great!.

I don't think newborns should be given so much work
4/5

We like that it is so small and fits our newborn, but it pushes so hard into his stomach that I wasn't a huge fan. My personal impression was that the little rubber piece was a little more rigid than flexible, so I thought it may be uncomfortable for the little one. The diapers and babies go through so many diapers, every time you change them you need to swap them out for the new one. When I was trying to keep it on, I would just take it off at night because it was too much effort. It ended up having more value for me when I got an owlet smart sock rather than a traditional sock since it can be worn overnight and you no longer have to tug on it each In addition to offering feedback about his sleep, the sock provided me with data about how well he was sleeping, which I actually liked way more than I expected. Finally, I would like to say the following don't want to spend a lot of money on the owlet, but still require a monitoring system, then this may work, but I didn't use it as it required a lot of adjustments to function with a new baby.

Parent who has suffered a loss will definitely find this helpful
5/5

The peace of mind that comes from this is well worth the price. It had been two days since we brought our son home, and we had two alarms going off. It has just been a few false alarms since then, but that is better than the alternative. After losing 8 pregnancies and 9 babies, as well as my little boy spending a week in the NICU, anything for reassurance was good. Since it doesn't let the levels reach a certain point and that it is 100% portable, I appreciate that it doesn't let the levels drop before alarming. My son's false alarms began occurring much more frequently once he got out of newborn diapers, but I have found that putting him in pants with it clipped to them almost always fixes the problem. Even after all the research, I still would purchase this item.
