I wanted a camera that would provide me with full access no matter how far away I was. Those are things I can do to make sure he's okay, and I can even listen in on the conversation. My home on the first floor is approximately 900 feet from the control panel. Even though I am on the other side of the house, I can still hear the baby. In the past couple of months of owning the monitor, the cry detection feature has come in so handy on so many occasions. I am very happy to have chosen this model only because of this feature. Besides this, there is a great deal of convenience as well. I get a great deal of use from the battery with one charge I can use it for 3 days on a single charge. In my opinion, this is an outstanding.

Love this for the price. I have an expensive camera that does not lag nearly as much but I spent $200 on I also use this one, but it is about $30 and it works just like the previous one. In light of the price savings, I would get this item.

I got it to use as a baby monitor and have been very pleased I love the app because it's easy to use and it works great with my Echo. It is common for people to have problems signing into the cameras app to add the skill to Echo, but I did not have any problems. I simply entered the email address and password I used to sign up. Blink mini doesn't work as well as this. My echo would continually buffer and close down the blink as well as the app would only allow you to watch for a short while before it would shut down and you would have to wait until the app would at least open. Use this camera as a baby monitor to keep an eye on your little one! If I replaced my blinks with these, I would save a lot of money.
