I have been using a M7 with my first child and am impressed with its features (yes, it worked while I was overseas to view and chat) and knew this would be better than what I had with my first child. I've never seen a camera with such a clear picture. On the M8, even the 1080 looks wonderful when you are zoomed in but the 2k really shines when viewed up close. In addition, the M7's solid/attached base makes movement more responsive. But in comparison, the M8's detachable base means that movement is less responsive. I am not sure I will be able to use the wall mount bracket in my setup, but it is an impressive feature. When compared to the M7, setup with the QR code was a breeze. There is a substantial improvement in the camera image loading time. When you conduct a setup, voice prompts add a nice touch. This time, the audio quality is much better and the mic can pickup sounds from the other side of the room. There is a large improvement in the clarity of the night vision and a deeper/stronger contrast. About four years ago, I purchased an iBaby M6s for my first child and have been hooked on the device *I have been eagerly awaiting the newest iteration of iBaby, and the M8 is nothing short of spectacular! There have been few issues that have not been resolved, even those that seem insignificant. This unit always had one complaint - the short and proprietary power cord that would not fit monitor mounting heights. That problem has been solved with a micro USB cable that is much longer and allows for monitor mounting heights to be adjusted much more easily. Last but not least, the mount has always been a challenge, as it is quite difficult to fit a good angle in the crib due to the large number of rotations that can be performed up/down/side to side Introducing the new model that has a fully flexible mount, a feature that can transform the way you can angle your new TV. The longer cord, flexible mount, and an attached base make it incredibly simple to adjust the ideal angle for your room. Only drawback to the new model would be the fixed panning "notches". These are the degrees the monitor moves when you pan, and these are a bit too far for me. In my opinion, incremental panning would be an ideal solution. As a whole, I couldn't be happier with the M8 and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a great baby monitor with WiFi. The monitor has excellent image quality, a high degree of mounting flexibility, very reliable connectivity, and can be accessed from mobile devices. Its App/System allows you to add multiple monitors, making it one of the best monitors on the market.

In the past, I had an older BabyCare monitor camera and I knew I wanted to stay with the brand. Love the new camera, and my toddler does as well! It's awesome to watch the star projection, to use the sensors, and to have loads of sounds and music to experiment with. The fact that I can switch between cameras in my app is also awesome. It is my favorite baby monitor, and I recommend it to everyone. The only complaint I have is that when you use the light feature and you oscillate/move the picture that it projects, the whole monitor moves, so there is no still image.

My favorite part about this baby monitor is its ease of use. Installation was very simple and fast. Having had two children and a toddler, it is the second one we own. We still use the first one for our little one. With so many features (I use the white noise, air quality monitor, and wide angle camera), and the video quality is superb, this product would not be complete without it. In addition to the monitor, we also wanted a baby monitor that does not require a screen on our phones so we can monitor our baby while on the go. It is an absolute delight!.
