At least four Hess car trucks can be stored inside. Outside, a small group of people can be accommodated. This isn't the toy bin for you if you need a big one. It's ideal for a small space and for storing small toys. Legos etc
I'm not sure how tall it is, but the wood legs can be removed.
Yes, for a toddler; however, I'm not sure about an adult.
It measures approximately 10 1/2 inches wide by 22 1/2 inches long. And it's a foot wide and a foot deep. It's not as big as I expected. It was simple to assemble and looks fantastic.

I wanted something that would blend in with the rest of our mid-century modern furniture because it was going to be in the living room. This was exactly what I was looking for. It has a lot more toys and books than I expected, and it's just the right height for a toddler. You really can't go wrong with this toy box; I'm actually planning on ordering a second for my daughter's room. It took me about 40 minutes to put together while holding a toddler the whole time.
For a small space, this toy box is ideal. I needed a toy box for my living room, and I couldn't find one. There is nothing that is too large. I'm really pleased with the size, though it was a pain to put together.
I never got a chance to use it because it was fully assembled. br>This item has a poor design, poor instructions, and low-quality hardware. The instructions are fairly straightforward, but the diagrams are practically useless. The fact that the wooden panels aren't labeled with the letters shown in the instructions only adds to the confusion. There are no labels. br>br>The screws included in the box are far too soft for this application, and the heads begin to strip as soon as they encounter any resistance about 1/3 of the way to flush. If you get the screws flush before the heads round out, the articulating arm that sits between the two hinges will put a shearing load on the lid (from back to front). The arm tore the screws out of the lid after only a few minutes of full assembly. br>br>Our plan was to use this item to store dress-up clothes. Costumes for two toddlers are being made. This would have been the ideal size, as the panels are fairly sturdy.
This was such a letdown of a purchase. Every piece was damaged in some way, ranging from mild to severe. Someone tried to put this together, gave up, repackaged it, and returned it, based on what I can tell. Although several steps of the instructions were completed, the exposed screws scratched and gouged other parts, resulting in additional damage. The hardware was delivered in a jumbled state, with parts missing. Overall, this was a flop of a purchase that I had high hopes for for my baby's nursery.
My toddler will love it because it's the perfect size. It has a solid feel to it.
I was initially hesitant to purchase because there was no rating when I purchased it, but I did so anyway because I like the design; I have yet to find a toy chest with a good design and the ability to store books, and we have placed a small chair next to the chest where my toddler will read. This one is just right, and I adore the design. We don't use it for sitting, and we keep the top cover open all the time so that my toddler doesn't close and open it all the time, breaking it; we only close it at the end of the day. We can store all of the smaller toys in the storage space, and the play area is immediately clean. When she has more toys, I'm thinking of getting a second one to put next to it. My toddler can also easily learn to put her toys and books back because of the design. It is worthwhile to purchase.
This was a relatively simple project to put together - similar to IKEA, etc. br>The finished product is lovely, large enough to be useful but small enough to fit neatly in the corner without taking up too much space. Above all, keep in mind: It's a hit with our 20-month-old; She can easily and safely retrieve and put away her toys, she likes being able to clean up her books, and it's a comfortable reading height for her. br>It's a definite must-have!.
I bought two of these and assembled them in under 30 minutes. They're not as big as other toy chests we've had, but I think they're just right if you don't have a lot of toys. They are a hit with both of my kids! I'm even going to put their names on the book shelf in front of them.
