This was a hit with my son! I used it for a candy buffet table at my son's birthday party.
It's also extremely secure, as it has a hole cut out in the side in case a child (or others) locks themselves (or others) inside! I was unsure if it would be worth the money, but it is!.
This toy bin is one of my favorites, and so is my son! I had to get this for him because he's obsessed with cars. I actually use it as an end table next to his car bed, and at night I store all of his stuffed animals inside. It's a good size, has air holes in case he climbs inside on his own, which he has already done, and a small track on the bottom of the lid that he enjoys playing with. I would strongly advise anyone with a child who enjoys cars to purchase this.
This is an excellent toy box. It turned out to be a lot bigger than I had anticipated. We keep all of my children's toy cars in it. There are holes around the toy box, which I believe are there for safety reasons so that a child can breathe if they choose to get into the toy box (which my children enjoy doing).
Because the lid does not snap on, it is simple for small children to remove it on their own to access their toys. I assume there's a big hole in the side for a kid to hide in. When you turn the lid over, you'll find some fake mountains and roads where you can race your car.
On one of the handles, the plastic appears to be unfinished.
