Our living room had been taken over by our 5-year-old son. There are toys strewn about the room! In his room, he has a toy box, but not in the living room. I made the decision to try to reclaim the room! I looked for a long time and finally found the Honey- Can Make a Pastel Organizer According to my wife, product assembly was simple and quick because she did it while I was still at work. Now that my son has put away the majority of his toys, I can reclaim some of the living room! Instead of clothes bins, I prefer these sturdy plastic bins. Despite the fact that they come in a variety of sizes, there is plenty of room.
I put it together after I put my daughter (13 months) to bed. It took about 15 minutes and a Philips head screwdriver to complete. Since it's in our living room, I haven't mounted it on the wall. I love the look, the colors, and the sturdiness of it, so when she's a little older and we move it to her room, we'll probably mount it to the wall when she has more unsupervised time. br>br>Everything was in perfect working order when it arrived - Bins were not warped or cracked in any way. There were no flaws in the wood siding, and all of the pre-installed trim was in good condition. The rods were aligned with the holes that had been drilled. My daughter couldn't take her gaze away from this new thing in the living room when she awoke this morning. When she finished her milk, she dashed over to the organizer and began playing with toys she hadn't seen in a long time, such as those found at the bottom of the bin we used previously (shown to the left in the second photo). br>br>This organizer will be extremely useful to us!.
This is something I truly adore! I'm not sure how it'll hold up over time because it's only day one, but so far it's fantastic! It has a lot of sturdiness to it. It holds a LOT of stuff, and I think it'll help us keep track of our toys better. Maybe we'll be able to reclaim our living room, at least in part! For two reasons, I docked a star. 1) I wish there were stickers or those pop-up cards available. Cover the screw holes on the outsides of the two legs with things. 2) The wall mounting brackets were not long enough to keep it firmly attached to the wall while also preventing the containers from rubbing against it. In my opinion, they are just a smidgeon too short. They needed to go to the hardware store to get larger brackets, so their husband had to run. Except for those two flaws, it's fantastic.
We realized after putting most of it together that it was not what we expected and decided not to return it. We assumed we'd be able to get new bins. I tried several times to contact customer service, but received no response. Honey Can Do was recommended to me by Amazon. The product itself is adequate, but not exceptional. If Honey Can Do had even acknowledged my presence, I would have given it a higher rating. Even the bins were something I was willing to pay for. Now we need another unit for upstairs, and I'm going to go with a different brand.
This was fantastic. Because all of my daughter's toys were in those cloth-covered, cardboard drawers, and she didn't play with many of them, I knew I needed something to display them in her play area. br>br>Here's what you'll get: two long boards, eight poles, and a dozen boxes 8 small screws, 4 medium screws, and a few screws (I didn't have a screwdriver, but it was fine- I had one), and some kind of wall bracket to connect to the wall, but I'm not sure how it would connect to the poles unless you attach the shelf to the wall by attaching it to one of the side panels- I've got mine in the middle of one of my walls, and I don't see why it needs to be attached to a wall unless you're climbing on it. br>br>It was fairly simple to construct the shelf. I did it all by myself, with a little help from my three-year-old son. year old. The most straightforward method is as follows: Connect all eight poles to one panel and screw them together, lay panel on floor with all eight sticking up, match all the holes to the other panel and screw them together, and the shelves will look like "how are boxes supposed to fit here at an angle?" "But it'll all make sense once you start putting the boxes in. ".
I was unable to remove it from the box in time to return it, as I had planned. The two end panels were taped together in a box after they were built and packaged, and they got wet at some point after that. They were probably repackaged, but when they were taken apart, a piece of the word chipped off, and water spots can be seen on the outside of the end panel. When it comes to the polls, they should just screw right in. It's a little difficult because some of the polls are larger than the hole on the panel, which could be dangerous for a young child left alone. I rarely write these comments, but I believe I was required to do so due to a safety concern, as it should have been returned. I believe I should have gotten my money's worth for the price I paid. But, as I previously stated, it was too late to return it by the time I opened it. It was a valuable lesson. Because this isn't the first time, I'm going to start opening packages as soon as they arrive and not taking anything for granted. Amazon's packaging is, for the most part, superior to industry norms.
The items appear to be exactly as pictured, and they are much larger than I anticipated. The bins are solid, long-lasting, and spacious. Although the sides are made of particle board, they are surprisingly thick and heavy, almost as if they were made of solid wood. The contents were also well-protected and packaged, which pleased me greatly. In the box, each piece was wrapped and protected with cardboard, and the sides were also bubble wrapped. The majority of Walmart sets are made of flimsy particle board, plastic tubing, and dreadful paint. The assembly was simple, and it came with all of the necessary hardware (except a screwdriver), as well as bolts and smaller pieces that were bagged and labeled. On paper, there are instructions and a warranty. During Cyber Monday Deals Week 2017, I was able to get this for only $26. Normally, they're priced between $54 and $60. $68. I'll be looking for more Honey Can Do products in the future.
