You certainly have the capability. However, because it's the same size as a standard pack n play, it'd be too small for twins. For a larger pack n play, I decided to go with a different brand. This was originally intended only for the bassenet, but it is now being used for toy storage as well.
Yes. In any case, they should sleep on their backs. Remove the blanket or swaddler if it becomes too hot.
Yes. At the top, there's mesh for ventilation. For a long time, my twins slept in bassinets.
I'm not sure if there are inserts, but I just tuck a receiving blanket in there and it seems to work fine and keeps the surface smooth until I clean it.

Although the product depicts the ability to hang two bassinets from the playard, the unit was not intended to support a baby in each bassinet. I spoke with Eric at BabyTrend Customer Service, who confirmed that the unit was only designed to support one child at a time, and that the unit's pictures depict storage only, not proper use. For the sense of false advertising used to depict the ability to use with two babies, I am giving this product a one-star rating. Aside from that, the unit appears to be well-made and simple to put together. BabyTrend should update their product advertising to reflect appropriate use after discovering an error in changing pad assembly in the instructions, which was confirmed by BabyTrend Customer Service.
To anyone reading reviews and wondering if these bassinets are machine washable or if they are truly designed for two babies, etc. , I wanted to provide answers to the questions I had before ordering. Yes, it is possible to wash it. At least the gray foxes version (I believe Forest Friends is the name). The bassinet liner, mattress pad, and fuzzy mattress cover are all separate from one another. I washed it on the gentle cycle and hung it to dry, and it came out looking like new. It will be simple to clean, I am completely satisfied. Second, is this really for two babies, or is it just for one? There are two bassinets. When babies outgrow their bassinets, the instructions advise against putting them in the same crib. I'm not sure what reviewers expected once babies graduated from the bassinets, but this is consistent with all the safe infant sleep information out there. They should technically be in separate sleeping spaces if they can roll over. It's up to you whether you take that advice or not, but this is in no way a criticism of the playground. Finally, another review expressed concern about the canopies over the bassinets being too loose and potentially dangerous. That was not the case in my experience. The canopies are attached to the sides with Velcro and do not fall into the bassinet.
The majority of it comes in large pieces that simply click together. There are no small parts, bolts, or screws to be found. If you already know how to put together a pack-and-play, you can skip this step. You're halfway there if you play (locking the outer rails before popping down the middle). The side-by-side changing table was probably the most difficult because the instructions were a little ambiguous, necessitating some intuition. The poles must be slid through the material, and figuring out which side is up to get it to click in can be tricky. However, with a little trial and error, you should be able to find your way to the correct location. The bassinets arrive flattened, which is useful for seeing how small they can be if you need to transport them. However, it's fairly simple to remove the metal bars and replace them with the cushions. Overall, the ease of assembly rates a 4 out of 10 (with 10 being the most difficult and inconvenient Ikea furniture with tiny tools). br>Observe/Feel- The quality of the materials is outstanding. From the netting to the metal components, plastic components, and baby components- Everything is very solid and has a high-end feel to it. The entire play yard is on one set of wheels, which allows it to be tilted and rolled while remaining light and easy to move. Each bassinet clips onto the front and back of the play yard so it is level and doesn't rock, and the materials inside the bassinets where the babies sleep are very soft and have a good amount of cushion and support. Even though the bassinet can be placed inside without being clipped in, this is not recommended because the bassinet will not be level. However, if you want to move the bassinets with the baby inside, the clips are a little tough and will require some tugging. The bassinets also have a safety feature that allows them to be attached to both the front and back. br>br>Accessories br>br> The organizer is nice, but if you're using the bassinets, it's pretty useless. The organizer has no place to go. It attaches to the bassinets in the same way. You can use either one bassinet and the organizer or two bassinets, but the organizer will not work with two bassinets. As a result, ours is strewn across the floor. I suppose it could be used as a floor organizer or anywhere else in the house. It would have been more practical if it had been attached to the side opposite the changing table. The sound/vibrator box attaches to the bassinet's side rail and is powered by batteries. There isn't much more to say. It does exactly what it says. The changing table is a nice addition, but there isn't enough room to flip it up because our play yard is wedged between two dressers. But note: If you have the left bassinet in place, you won't be able to use the changing table. The changing table does not simply flip up; it also flips into the play yard, where the bassinet is located. As a result, we decided that the changing table would not be our first choice. There's also a travel bag that holds everything, so it's probably larger than a travel play yard that only has the big pen/mattress. br>br>Size: Considering it's compatible with two separate detachable bassinets, it's a great and compact size. It takes up very little space but is ideal for infant twins as a primary or secondary sleeping area. When the bassinets are clipped in, there's a gap between them, and because the play yard mattress is in a high position when the bassinets are in use, it's actually a useful storage space. The space between the bassinets is filled with extra blankets, swaddles, toys, and sheets. br>br>Bassinets (br>br>Bassinets (br>br>Bassinets (b incredibly tough Inside and out, there are excellent materials. They can hold up to 15 pounds, according to the manufacturer. They're extremely slim, but they're ideal for newborns. The sleeping pads are simply velcroed down, making them easily removable for washing. They're small and light, so carrying one or two at a time is simple. They clip onto the bassinet, which requires a fair amount of force to spread and click the plastic. The inability to use the organizer while the bassinets are in use (which is the primary purpose of a twin bassinet play yard), the inability to use the changing table when one of the bassinets is clipped in, and not being able to quickly remove the bassinets in order to use the changing table (although I consider not being able to move the bassinets quickly to be a much more important safety feature than being able to access the changing table) are the main reasons I br>br>In general- The nursery center has exceeded our expectations. It doesn't appear to be susceptible to the same flaws as the other twin bassinet brand (the middle slumping). The colors are decent, and given that there is only one color option, they should work well in the majority of baby rooms, but if color is extremely important to you, this product may disappoint you due to its lack of options. There are only a few twin play yards on the market, and this one has the better twin sleeping design. Everything else is likely to be standard in a play yard.
According to my opinion, this is the best twin bassinet available. Every night, my twin daughters sleep soundly there. We removed the bassinets so that we could travel with them, and it was a simple and quick process. You can't use the changing table and bassinet at the same time, which is a drawback, but we've managed just fine without it. The attached light/sound machine is a lifesaver in the middle of the night and is so helpful with twins to know which one is crying! I placed the caddy in between the bassinets to hold extra diapers, blankets, etc. One of the absolute best features is the attached light/sound machine. It's simple to clean and, all in all, a wise investment.
This is something that both of my daughters enjoy. They prefer to sleep next to each other, so we have them sleep on the raised mattress at night, but we use the carriers in the living room during the day so they can nap while we watch TV. So far, this product has proven to be extremely useful.
Unlike the Graco, where the bassinets are just fabric dividers, the packNplay's bassinets are separate entities that snap into the packNplay. They also come with small sound machines that snap on to the bassinets with a few different noises/tunes, as well as a small light for when you don't want to turn on an overhead light to check on them in the middle of the night. My twins are now 10 weeks old and sleep in this next to our bed for bedtime. It says "hand wash only" if the fabric they lay on gets dirty/spit up on, but I did put them in the washer on a hand wash setting and they were fine; just don't put anything else in with it because the Velcro on the back will attract whatever else you wash. These sell out quickly, so keep an eye on them if you don't see them before they're gone. If you can't find them here, Target sells them for the same price online.
