There is no tipping with this dresser, it looks nice, and it is heavy. As a result, it was manufactured using highly toxic chemicals which are not suitable for children's rooms. After I opened the box, I sensed a strong chemical odor that I thought would dissipate, but it did not, even a year later I would need to open the window. I find it horrifying to imagine a child breathing in formaldehyde-laced toxic stew while sleeping all through their childhood. As far as I can tell, this is not legal to sell, and I am surprised to find out that this actually is illegal to sell now in California, This is not something I usually review, but the amount of time and stress I have put into it over the past few years was not worth the few dollars saved over what it would have cost to buy better furniture, and the 4. 5% return on investment has shocked me. An excellent five-star rating was given to this product. I thought it was something minor, but ultimately solving the smell problem meant sealing all drawers, inside and out, with Zinsser B-Gloss. Prime your walls with a stain-blocking primer. A primer like this will seal virtually anything, including this poor air quality. To help anyone else who makes the mistake of purchasing this, I would like to provide a potential solution on my review. This is not worth it and Delta "Children" should be held accountable for selling an item intended for a child's bedroom that is made from harmful.

As a dresser, it looks nice when it is assembled. It is solid and strong (heavy, sturdy). In any case, it smells like a can of open paint. I have never bought furniture that smells like an open can before. Our baby has been out of the box for 4 days and still smells rather strongly. I'm hoping that by the time she is born the smell will be gone. There is something about the smell that leads me to wonder if the paint used on the dresser is non-toxic A toxic substance. Second, even though the drawers are sturdy and assemble with screws rather than glue (which is good), they are quite short. They stop about 3 inches short of the back of the dressing table. Someone must have a very special reason for designing a dresser in As a result, you have a lot less storage per drawer, and you also have a large gap in the back - an ideal place for clothing to fall. As a result of these two things, I would return the dresser if we hadn't already assembled it. The product would not be purchased again, and it would not be recommended.

I think this dresser is AMAZING! Getting ready for assembly 2 hours (not including There is packing to do as well as some cleaning. The top). There are large drawers that slide smoothly and are nice and deep you can store tons of baby clothes in them! Currently, I use the top two drawers for clothes that fit him now, the middle two drawers for clothes that will fit him in the future, and the bottom two drawers are used to hold cloth diapers and burp cloths. When he gets older, however, he should still be able to use it. Although he'll be a teenager, I don't think he will need a different dresser. It is beautiful to see the "dark chocolate" color. When the time comes to have another child, I plan to pass this on to them. Unless we buy a new dresser, we will probably just buy our son a bigger one later. In addition, I sort of wish the dresser sat flush on the floor instead of on legs because things (toys, clothes, diaper rash cream tubes, rogue wipes, etc) could not fall under it and onto the floor.
