This seemed to work okay at first, but it made it difficult to close and it didn't hold in the smell When our second baby came along, this one was a cheap pail for our playroom, and I feel so bad about the two years we suffered with the other one. It is impossible for me to find anything negative to say about The diaper will fit into the hole with no problem! It's not acceptable to push vigorously to close the lid with the other arm while holding the baby. Having been frustrated by what to do with the plastic grocery bag of used litter I was gathering until trash day, I have cleaned my cats' litter daily, but have been unable to dispose of it. I was unable to eliminate the unpleasant smell of it no matter what happens to it after I get rid of I am very happy with this diaper pail. My trash can is adjacent to my litter box, and I make sure to slip the bag of used litter through the spring door in the top every day. This can is sealed to keep odors in for the entirety of the week thanks to its inner sleeve liner and lid seal. I used the handy cutter on trash day to cut off the top of the liner and knot it to seal in the cat litter waste for seven days. It is now almost impossible for me to smell used cat litter in that part of my home because I do yoga in that area. It does the job nicely.

Our Diaper Champ stopped working and we were in need of a replacement, quickly. Our first choice was the DC, but all of them were sold out or very expensive (I have no idea why), so this was our second choice. After one week, we realized the smell could not be controlled. I have a toddler, so this thing just cannot handle toddler poop! Whenever the top flap door opened so you could insert a new diaper, a whiff wafted into your nostrils. Please note the following information. About once a week, we change the bag. There isn't any excess capacity or anything since she goes to daycare every day the whole week. It was fun to empty the Dekor, but I was gagnant every time we did. As soon as my husband emptied it, he began to drag it into the foyer, trying to get it as far away from the house as possible. Since you had to expose the bag and grab the entire thing in order to empty it, he says it was disgusting. It was easy to cut the bags on the little slicer on the door, but still took a little longer than usual to change It was also broken on top of the flap door. We really like how this diaper pail works! Regular garbage bags can be used with it and will not get jammed up, as they do with other models. On top of that, unlike with the other brands, the diapers will be evenly distributed inside the pail compared to clumping together.
