I was let down. The fabric is very thin, and the picture does not do it justice. Arrived with the appearance of having been washed several times, and the name was difficult to read. When I showed my husband (who is a very perceptive individual), he asked, "Why are you showing me a blue blanket?" - He had to look at the name for a long time before recognizing it. The name is burned into the fabric, and it was so rough that it scratched my little one.
This blanket was purchased to wrap my newborn son in when he arrived home. (It's due on February 19th) It's a fantastic blanket, but the reason I gave it three stars is minor. I like the idea of a personalized blanket, but the words used to write the name are either a scorch method or I have no idea. The name, however, is written in a rough material. I don't mean, "Oh, that's a little uncomfortable," but rather, "Wow, that's pretty rough. " I rubbed it against my cheek to see what would happen, and it turned the skin pink and raw. Imagine being a newborn baby and having something like that come into contact with your skin. Isn't it going to be a pain? The company was kind enough to send me an email asking how I liked the product, to which I replied honestly, but the response was cold and rude. I simply expressed my concerns and inquired if they had a different type of fabric they could use instead of the method that resulted in the name being rough. Of course, I would have bought it because the blanket is of good quality and they delivered on time. I was going to buy another one, but the woman who responded to my email was a little sassy, saying there was nothing wrong with it, but if it was a little rough, toss it in the washer and it would soften up. That amused me because, as all mothers know, you should always wash anything that will come into contact with your child's skin before using it, so I had washed it and it was still rough. It's not a bad product, but I'm almost certain there's somewhere else that could do the same thing with a softer result; I mean, you could easily do it yourself using products from your local hobby store; I just didn't want to put in the effort. I was also unsatisfied with the reply I received. I'll still use the blanket because it's a good blanket and I won't let the rough part touch my son's skin, but I'd prefer to have a blanket that I didn't have to be so careful with. I know it sounds like I'm nitpicking, but I'm serious when I say that lettering is difficult. If you buy it, just be careful when using it because it feels like a nail file. Imagine touching, scraping, and irritating your two-day-old skin. Isn't it going to be a pain? However, this is a fantastic product.
Before I bought this blanket, I read the current reviews, and the reviews convinced me to buy it. It's only useful because it can be personalized. The blanket is very thin, and the name isn't nearly as visible as I'd like it to be. The blanket has been washed and is embellished with small cotton balls. It's almost as if it's been shed- ed or something along those lines. Purchase at your own risk, as everyone's viewpoint differs greatly. If I had seen it in a store, I would not have bought it because it feels and looks very cheap.

The embroidery is a little rough, but it doesn't seem to bother him, and it saves me the trouble of writing his name in permanent marker on the tag. This was a gift that I purchased. The name is much larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise; the blanket is soft, but the lettering is rough. This isn't a deal breaker for me because the blanket is large enough to provide swaddling without any of the blanket's edges touching the baby. I'm going to buy more. I wish there was a negative star because I ordered it as a gift for a friend's newborn. To begin with, the blanket is of poor quality, and the personalization is a joke; you can barely see it on the blanket because it isn't done correctly, and on top of that, when I tried to cancel my order even before shipping, they replied that I could return it because they were unable to cancel it, and after the order was shipped, when I contacted them for a free return label,.
For a custom order, the shipping and turnaround time from order to delivery to my home was quick. The blanket's thickness is what I dislike the most. It's much lighter than I anticipated. It's more of a light blanket than a heavy one. However, it was a big hit with my daughter. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for our soon-to-arrive new baby, but I couldn't wait because I was so excited!.
