I have a 3 year old who attends "school" and A blanket was lying around, but it was a heavy one. Summer was the ideal time for him to wear lighter clothing. His face lights up when he sees this! In fact, he grabbed the towel, and wouldn't let go until I could wash it. He will find it soft and lightweight, but it will keep him cool if the air conditioner at school is a bit powerful.
The search I was looking for has been found. I was looking for a baby blanket like this one. I like that it is super soft but also heavy enough not to go "fluff". I love how it keeps my little one warm at night and how its dinosaur print is adorable. Whenever he goes anywhere, he brings it with him. The only thing I was afraid of was that it would leave fibers/hairs when it gets chewed (he's teething and chews everything he can get his hands on) but it doesn't. No matter how many times it is washed, the colors are still vibrant, and it is still super soft. This is something I would highly recommend. The next time I'm in the market for these, I'll buy.
I was looking for a blanket with a large size, thinness, and softness, and I found just what I was looking for. Here is a picture of my 6-year-old During the week To show the size, I placed a baby on the blanket. It is about the same thickness as two receiving blankets, so I went with something relatively thin, like I had in mind. The only problem was that some of the stitching was not very good (see picture), thus the 4 star rating. After undergoing the first wash, it still survived, but we'll see how long it will last. In any case, if the seams start to come apart, you just have to sew them back together.

This blanket is so cute. From the Salvation Army Angel Tree, I purchased it as a gift for a 2-year-old boy. Even though it isn't quite ideal for winter, this toddler jacket is exactly the right weight. As well as for older toddlers, the size is great for smaller children. My only complaint is that it wasn't very soft and had a weird smell or coloration, so I don't think I'll be returning it.
