I'm not going to purchase it again. I'd like to come back, but I'm running out of time. I should have paid attention to the negative reviews about the odor. I washed the cover and let the foam air out, but I'm thinking about washing it. The aroma quickly filled the living room. I wouldn't put my child to sleep on something like this. Hopefully, scrubbing everything clean will be beneficial. It could ruin it because the foam says it's wipe-off only. The size and thickness, on the other hand, appear to be adequate. Perhaps a dog bed would be the best use for this. It's hoped that washing everything will fix the problem.

So far, she seems to enjoy it! I received an email from the seller, which I appreciated, stating that it might have an odor once the packaging was removed. I expected a foul odor, but there was none once the product was removed from its packaging. I'm very happy! Before we started using it, we let it air out for a day. I appreciated how soft but firm the mattress was.

br>I haven't used it yet for my son but I will update when I do use it for travel soon, just wanted to write how I didn't notice any odor which I was concerned about. It was strangely large for my pack n play, but it still worked and managed. My son didn't mind, and it felt comfortable.

It's a little too big, but it still works; it's thick, but not as thick as I expected; and he sleeps comfortably on it. I'm very pleased with this purchase; I was concerned that he would sleep on the hard mat that came with it, and since he sleeps alone at home, I was concerned that he would sleep with us and develop a habit that I know will be difficult to break when we return home.

7 days prior to use We're overjoyed that this fits our needs. perform admirably Just prior to delivery, we were notified via email that it would need to air out (for 5-days). 7 days) as a result of the odor. They claimed it was part of a packaging disinfection process. I unzipped the cover when I got there so I could wash it before using it. When I unzipped it, the zipper head fell off, which was a major letdown. The smell of the foam insert was strong at first, but it has since faded after 7 days. The memory foam inserts appear to be supportive and comfortable in general. I would not have chosen this mattress pad if I had known about the odor when I ordered it because I needed to use it before the odor went away. In addition, I now have to sew a new zipper into the bag.

This pad, as many others have stated, SMELLS OF CHEMICALS. Fortunately, I ordered ahead of time, but it's still stinky after a week of hanging to air out. I washed the cover, which helped, but the pads still have a strong odor. I'm not sure why there are so many chemicals in baby and children's products.

Although the product is soft and comfortable, it emits a strong chemical odor. I washed the machine-washable cover, but the three foam pad inserts have been airing out for three days and are still stinking up the room. I'm still undecided about how I'll use them. The strong odor lingers in the air and gives me a headache, so I'm not going to let the little one sleep on it until the smell has dissipated. I'll be back if that doesn't happen.

For a portable "mattress," I was expecting something a little firmer; It just feels like a square of foam mattress topper that might be comfortable on top of a mattress, but I don't think it'll provide much support on its own. While the product was in transit, the seller sent a message to explain the chemical treatment mentioned by others, which may require several days of airing out. As others have pointed out, the seller should include this information in the product description. Overall, it was a poor decision.
