The color was not the one advertised, but it was Just received these sheets today, and when I opened the package, it was difficult to stand the chemical smell of the fabric

I will definitely wash these several times to ensure that there is no lingering smell. Furthermore, the picture shows the color to be a different shade of "blue, aqua, or teal" than it actually is. A green color is all there is. If you're going to use them, I would recommend washing them a few times. As long as they fit my bassinet, that's all that matters. Although the packaging indicates they can fit any shape mattress, my mattress will be an oval shape, and the packaging indicates the sheets are rectangles. As far as I can tell, they are rectangles.

The first thing I noticed when I pulled them out of the package was how small they are and I knew they wouldn't fit anything but a simple oval bassinet

Thus, I was disappointed in them when I pulled them out of the package. Aside from that, the quality is good. It isn't so soft as the soft sheets, but it is the normal stiffness It is not see-through and the designs are cute.

This mattress didn't have enough space to fit the 36" by 18" bassinet

It is a lovely set of sheets, and they are really The crib sheets are very nice at first glance, but they didn't fit our bassinet mattress 36" by 18". We found that these sheets pulled the sides up of our mattress, despite their claim that they fit most rectangle mattresses. They're going to have to be returned.
