The back plate is held in place by nothing. Normally, frames have indented lines where the metal pieces can be slid into to keep the back piece in place, but this one does not. I had to use tape to secure the back. It reminds me of a frame from the dollar store.
I decided I wanted to find a gift for the'mom and dad' without being too cheesy because I didn't know what to get the baby yet. The pictures of sonograms are usually stuck to the fridge with a magnet. This serves as a frame for after the baby is born, as well as preserving and embracing the image. This was a fantastic present!.
I hadn't seen the exact frame from my first baby (2012), but it was very close. It arrived in the mail today, and I was very happy with how it turned out! I just wish I had paid more attention to the size; it's much smaller than the one I have of my oldest. 75"x3. 75"). However, it is effective. This is such a sweet memento.

It's so small and adorable. Excellent craftsmanship. This frame is one of my favorites, and I bought one for each of my children. Perfect for me, and each frame comes with three different mats so you can say whatever you want. This frame comes highly recommended by me, and it's only $12. 99 cents, well-made for the money.
It was ideal for the first ultrasound photo of our baby. My 8-year-old took the frame out of his announcement gift and the back popped right off, so I only gave it four stars. Regardless, it's adorable, and we keep it on our shelf to keep track of our baby's progress week by week.
