Mostly in the first year.
Yes, there is a baby shower section. At her shower, I gave my friend this baby book, and she immediately began filling it out with information about the gifts as well as the names of those who gave them. So that she could do this, I asked her to open my gift first. It turned out fantastically!
Gather photos and take them to Walgreens to be sized to the "ideal" size(s) for the book. They're cheap, and if you're not tech-savvy, they'll come in handy.
$24 is the asking price. Not $2000, but $69

The baby book is absolutely stunning. This is something I ordered, and the only reason I'm not keeping it is because it's extremely religious. Aside from that, it was precisely what I needed. It includes a tooth map, a pocket for the first haircut, and two back pockets for mementos. There is a magnetic closure on the book itself.
Even though it only covers the first year, this is a very detailed memory book. As a result, this book is likely to be densely packed with information. This is a sweet book with whimsical, cute illustrations and a focus on how precious Baby is to her Creator, fearfully and wonderfully created. Scriptures that emphasize the value of life can be found throughout the book, and they clearly acknowledge God as the Creator who loves His children. There are memento and photo inserts, pages for Mommy and Daddy's history, and it comes in a dust-proof box. a simple, adorable little memory book with plenty of pages for lots of information about the parents, their families, showers and gifts, and, most importantly, the children. BABY! BABY! BABY! BABY! BABY (Mrs. Bassman's review).
It's solid and well-designed. My only criticism is that the magnet for closing the binder is visible through small indents. There were only minor dents, nothing visible through the cardboard, but I was aware of them right away. This does not detract from the book's overall quality or content. I'd buy it again, and I'd give it as a gift to someone else. Simply put, I'm a snob. )br>For the first year, a great layout - This isn't a book for children under the age of five. There are a few places where you could keep going for years if you wanted to - It is for the first year, possibly two. There are sections for continuous year notes where you can include items such as favorite toys, favorite foods, funny things they say, sleeping musts, and first vacations. All of these things, in my opinion, would fit into a series of years if you wanted to keep track of them that way. However, there is no first day of school or anything like that.
So intricate, lovely, sweet, and Christian! God gives us babies as a gift! I wish I had known about this five years ago when I was expecting my first child! At the very least, this baby will have a sweet book, whereas others will only have regular books.
I won't include any pictures in this review because we've already written a lot of our daughters' stuff in the book, but aside from some biblical quotes that aren't too bad if you're not religious, this is the all-in-one baby book you've been looking for! There are ultrasound spots, two large keepsake pockets, the first lock of hair, a full dental chart, a bracelet pocket, entire pages for bath photos, playtime photos, newborn photos, Christmas, vacation, birthday, etc. , and even a baptism page if you're religious. We bought the boy version for our son, who was born this year, because there is so much in this book.
This is a lovely and touching book. It's well-made and tastefully decorated. There's plenty of room for writing and storing mementos. br>I've seen some complaints about the book being religious or "too" religious on this site. The word "Christian" is literally written in the listing. I'm not sure what else was expected of them.
I'm short on time and don't enjoy writing a lot, so this was ideal. There are plenty of prompts for milestones like first words, walking, and the appearance of teeth, as well as plenty of photo opportunities. I like the front-of-the-house photo spot, but there's no plastic covering, so the photo is exposed to the elements. br>br>I wouldn't recommend this product if you don't have a religious background; it contains Bible verses throughout, a space for a prayer for your baby, and a place to write the date of your baby's baptism.
For your child, this is the best memory book ever. My purchase has made me so happy. There are plenty of spots for photos, such as the first sonogram, baby shower, first picture, first day at home, room photo, bath time, playtime, mealtime, bedtime, first vacation, Christmas, first birthday, first haircut, and favorite things (toys/blankets).
