Is refusing to give it to my baby

I bought this for my six month old baby, unfortunately after tasting this a little bit he wants to close his mouth and refuses to open his mouth, unfortunately he did not like it As a fair thing to say- The apple sauce tasted like regular apple sauce to me, but maybe that's not what he likes. There must be a hit and miss depending on the baby, and that is a miss for my baby.

The apple fruit that I thought would be like apple sauce turned out to be disgusting to the baby, who scoffed at it, and we had to buy the real thing. It's not horrible to adult taste buds, but to babies, it's a bit unpleasant. There is a lot of lemon flavor in this.

The texture is different

I'm hoping she'd love it like her Gerber organics or Happy Baby, but she gags when she's fed this brand. I think there must be a difference in texture/consistency or flavor between it and her Gerber organics or Happy Baby. There is a noticeable difference between the texture and the thickness of a "first foods". Thank you for your understanding!.
