I used a microwave steam sterilizer to sterilize the items. Everything went smoothly.
Consider it a case for your mouthguard. They aren't exactly lean. It will put a nice lump in your pocket unless you wear baggy pants/sweats. And if your pants are too tight, it will constantly slip out.
If you put one shield inside the other, you might be able to fit two. Otherwise, the case is only big enough for one person.
Hello Diana, it comfortably accommodates one shield. If you have any additional questions, please let us know! Customer Service, Lauren T, Modern Momma

Another user said it was only a dental retainer case, which I assumed was a stretch. It turns out that it's just a plain dental retainer case (complete with a place to write return information) with a clear sticker on top (that's barely adhered to the case). It'll do the job just fine, but you have other options if you want more color variety. br>br>Won't really fit shields with a complete circle.
Every day, I sit in the same spot on the couch and leave the nipple shield on the arm rest; however, whenever my DH sat in my spot, he was completely oblivious and knocked it off the couch, resulting in a 5-minute scavenger hunt to find it. He finally knocked it off to the point where my nipple shield vanished completely; luckily, I had a backup! So I made the decision that my DH would never be able to lose my shield again. This fantastic container was purchased by me. When I'm done, I put my shield in it, and I've never lost it since! I highly recommend this if you're a regular user of a nipple shield because the shape is ideal and the size is just right.
Our dog chewed on several of her silicone nipples, which prompted me to purchase this. She didn't have a spare that day, and the baby wouldn't let her breastfeed unless she had that nipple! I was going to make sure the dog didn't get any more nipples (she ended up pumping and bottle feeding)! Not to mention that it would be kept clean in this handy case rather than being thrown into the diaper bag. That is a brilliant concept. I would strongly suggest it.
Overall conclusion- away: It gets the job done. Medela breast shield is comfortable to wear and of good quality. I like the bright pink color because it makes it easy to locate the shield in my diaper bag and to keep it safe on the coffee table or in the nursery. BUT, LET'S BE FRANK, LET'S BE HONEST - This is an orthodontic retainer case that has been repackaged and marketed as a shield case by applying a sticker to it. However, this is a case involving a retainer. On the back is a label that says "return to ____ if lost. ".
Because our baby had latching issues, I prefer to use my nipple shield. This is fantastic; I used to feel strange putting it in a plastic baggie. I just scrub it out after traveling because it's so much better. I love that I can just throw this in my diaper bag and not worry about it when I'm going to a family member's house or going on a short trip.
It arrived quickly and exactly as I had requested. The shield was a life saver when I was a new mommy and breastfeeding, but I already lost the nipple shields in the first week, and they aren't cheap. After washing and using them, I tried putting them in a zip lock bag, but they kept disappearing. I needed to come up with a different solution, and these cases are fantastic! All you have to do now is look for your shield's case, as long as you've put them back in the case.
My baby had a hard time latching on, so I kept my nipple shield on me at all times. Because I didn't have any other options, I'd have to rely on zip lock bags. They work, but the bags will stick to the plastic on the nipple shield, making it difficult to remove. Not to mention the fact that I had to get a new bag every time my child ate. Because I could just throw my shield in and go, the carrying case was perfect. It was simple to clean because all I had to do was run it under hot water and disinfect it once a week with a steam bag.
Before I got this one, I had a clear one, so I no longer have to look for my shields or wonder where I put them. I have three nipple shields, and they all fit perfectly inside; I'm sure more would as well. My 2-year-old son can't open it because it snaps shut tightly. The case is made of plastic and appears to be quite tough. Although I wish the price was a little lower, I am satisfied with my case overall.
