Questions & Answers
On the medela website, I discovered the following all-natural ingredients: Oat Beta Glucan, Lanolin, and Capryllic Capric Triglycerides
It's more like an ointment, and it's the best product for cracked nipples. It worked for me when my first child was born.

Breastfeeding moms will love this book!.
This nipple cream is a personal favorite of mine. I had originally purchased a different brand, but it was too thick and painful to apply in my early days of learning to breastfeed. This version is thinner, easier to apply, and has proven to be effective in reducing nipple pain. I bought more to give as gifts to pregnant friends because I believe it is a must-have item for anyone learning to breastfeed.
I couldn't nurse without it, and I especially like it because it's not as thick and sticky as pure lanolin, and it's simple to apply. I always have at least two spare tubes on hand. I've always wanted to be a nurse, and I've been nursing my son for the past two years. Nursing is unpleasant, painful, and inconvenient, but it is also nurturing, bonding, and loving. This product aids me in overcoming the challenging physical aspects of nursing so that we can focus on the positive aspects. It's something I use on a daily basis.
This product is fantastic; it's very moisturizing, easy to apply, and the scent is much more subtle than most other lanolin creams I've tried (including Lansinoh, which is excellent but has a stronger scent). I've used it for nighttime moisturizing (cracked/bleeding hands in the winter) and sore/cracked nipples from breastfeeding. It performs admirably for both purposes. br>br>At the time of purchase (a few months ago), it was the best deal I could find - Two bottles of wine for $15 However, it appears that a single bottle is now available on Amazon for less than $7, so shop around to find the best deal. Overall, a great product.
Everything else I tried was chunky and spread like toothpaste, but Medela Lanolin was silky smooth and easy to apply, even when my skin was sensitive.
My wife swears that after our daughter chomps on her nipples, she uses this cream to help them heal. Her nipples are as soft and perky as ever, as I can attest "firsthand. " If you're breastfeeding or pumping, do yourself a favor and get this along with some hydrogel; you'll be glad you did.
But then I found out that it could be used for a variety of things: Cuticle softener, chapped lips, and dry nostrils are all remedies for chapped lips. It can go up your nose and be safe if a baby can eat it. This Lanolin is of the highest quality and is used in the medical field. Yes, it sounds gross, but I sleep with my nose open and this product keeps my inner nostrils moist. Ahhhh.
This is what I brought because I was given it at the hospital, but there are so many better nipple creams out there. You get what you pay for because it is inexpensive. Mother Love is my favorite because it is cruelty-free. It's free and it's more convenient for me.
