These are the same ones that my lactation nurse gave to me while I was in the hospital. They only last about a week before they start to dry out, but they are fantastic. They advised that I simply wipe my nipple with a baby wipe before eating. She has never witnessed anything like this, but the company suggests it. I used them for about two weeks while my nipples and baby got used to breastfeeding. They were fantastic in general! They were cool just sitting in the package, but if you wanted, I could put them in the fridge. In any case, they're a lifesaver, and if I decide to breastfeed again, I'll buy more.
If your nipples are sore or sensitive, you'll be desperate to find something that will help them feel better. I wish they were adhesives and were a little bigger. They only stay in place if you wear a bra, which I didn't wear the majority of the time because my boobs hurt so much. The only advantage is that they are more durable than the other brand.
The "4 pack" is a two-pack that includes four pads in total. This is why I only gave them one star. br>br>Though the product is excellent, you can get them for much less at Walmart or Walgreens.
Soothing to the extreme. They aided me in continuing to breastfeed after the first few weeks of excruciating pain. The only thing I didn't like about them is that washing and storing them between uses is difficult because they shrivel up a little when washed.

I recently purchased them for a cousin, and I will continue to purchase them for future mommies! While you're using one set, put the other one in the fridge! Later, you'll thank me.
These are highly recommended! Especially during the first month after giving birth if you're a new mom. They relax your nipples while also assisting in their recovery. Before using the covers, I applied breast milk to my nipples and rinsed them in cold water. In place of breast milk, you can use nipple cream. I was able to use both of them successfully. Buy them!.
