I'm not sure how big you want your burp cloths to be, so that's a difficult question to answer, but I think they're big enough to cover you from neck to shoulder.
It's roughly the size of a large napkin in size. So, if you want to use it as a washcloth or a face towel, it might work.
The quality is excellent. They are very absorbent and last a long time; I've had mine since my son was born four months ago and I've washed them numerous times and they still look brand new.
I suggest cleaning it with warm water and a mild baby detergent. detergent that is specific

I've used a lot of burp clothes as a foster parent for newborns for the past 15 years. Your burp cloths are super absorbent, the perfect size, and they wash up beautifully. I'll be back to place more orders!.
I'm expecting my second child soon, and I know I'll need burp clothes right away. I wanted something a little more substantial and plush than a standard burp cloth. This is exactly what they are; They're soft, wash well, and are large enough to cover both the front and back of the shoulders. After washing with whites for 20 minutes on gentle, I attached a photo. They're as good as new after drying. These cloths have made me very happy.
I bought two sets of four of these and, as others have noted, they are smaller than advertised. 17x10" approximation They're now 15"x9" after a cold-water wash and air drying in the dryer. /br>br>UPDATE: /br>br> These shrank even more after two washes. You don't even know how to use your shoulder properly.
They were a complete disaster. They turned yellow quickly due to the formula, became crusty if not washed immediately after use, and were too thick to absorb much. Then, because I despised the others, I bought these on the spur of the moment, and my world has been turned upside down! These are amazing cloths! First and foremost, the price is incredible, and second, it is extremely affordable! They're dense, but they absorb a lot better! And it's not difficult for me to get it under my daughter's chin when I'm giving her a bottle. Yes, they're white, but they're fighting hard to stay that way; we wash them with her clothes on a regular basis, and there's only a very slight yellowing along the edges, and they don't get crusty if we don't wash them right away. br>br>All I have to do now is toss out my old ones and buy a new pack of these because they're all I'm using right now.
I wish they were a little bigger, but having them on hand will be useful.
When my baby spits up on my shirt, she soaks right through the Muslin burp cloth, leaving the fabric soaked. You'll be doing laundry all day if you have a baby who spits up a lot. Cotton cloths with an inner fleece layer or fleece cotton cloths work much better. (At a lower price point, there are also more appealing design options. ) )br>br>However, the fabric is soft, and the size is appropriate. The cloth is comfortable to wear over the shoulder. It's a shame the absorption is so poor, especially considering the cost.
They're the perfect thickness and width for slinging over your shoulder, and they're a lot nicer than the cloth diapers I use at home. They won't be able to replace my Gerber thin ply for wiping up bigger messes because they're too small. They're ideal for keeping in my diaper bag when we go out.
The most recent revision: 8/26/19- I'm going to give them 5 stars because they're still great burp cloths after shrinking. Since April, we've been using them all day, every day, and they've held up admirably. Delicates should be washed gently and dried on low/medium heat. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Because of the excellent customer service, I upgraded my rating from one to three stars; they quickly resolved my issue and made me a happy customer. br>br>I'm really annoyed that the burp cloths aren't as big as they claim to be. They're at least 3 inches shorter than the description indicates, and this is before they've been washed. As a result, I expect them to shrink even more. I'm not sure how absorbent they'll be because the material is soft but appears to be fairly thin (they did shrink to 16). 5 inches in length).
