THIS IS NOT CORNSTARCH IN IT'S PURE FORM. It's made up of talcum powder and cornstarch. This is a completely different product, and it's not what you're looking for if you're trying to stay away from asbestos.

I was hesitant to try the new powder because Johnson's had stopped using talc, but the corn starch formula was fine enough not to scratch and did an excellent job, and I believe it is probably healthier than using talc
