The clips are extremely effective. I haven't had any major problems with them breaking on me. There are two things about them that I don't like. The fact that the clips are covered in the same material as the bow is something I don't like about them. Clipping it into my daughter's hair is difficult because of this. The asymmetry of the bows is another thing that bothers me. For example, the tail is up on the left side and down on the right side; this may be a personal preference, but it's not a major annoyance.

It's a fabric-covered clip that doesn't pull at her hair and stays in place perfectly. For a baby, this is the perfect size. I've been using them on my three-month-old daughter since she was three months old.

These bows are ideal for babies who are nearly bald. These work well even if you don't have a lot of hair. My youngest (almost two years old) is just beginning to show her locks, and I have two beautiful blondies. The fabric-covered clip is not only soft, but it also aids in the sticking of the bows in less-than-shiny hair. (Now if only my daughters would keep them inside!) )br>br>The bows are a little smaller than I expected based on the photoshopped images, but they are two inches wide as advertised. br>br>I didn't have any bows that were defective. A dab of glue from a hot glue gun was applied to one of the bows. The only reason these didn't get five stars is because of a bad advertisement picture and a dab of glue (nitpicky, I know). br>br>These are, in my opinion, a great deal.

Super cute and super soft! Her fine hair is well-protected by the clips, which are extremely well-wrapped. They arrived much sooner than expected, thanks to simple packaging and lightning-fast shipping. I would strongly suggest it.

We do use these occasionally, but only when I need a specific color to match my daughter's outfit. We'll use others we have with better clips if we don't have any. Because of the fabric on the back of the clip, these are extremely difficult to weave into my daughter's ponytail. I prefer the smooth metal backings because they make it much easier for me to get it into her pony without a fight!.

There are no crimp marks, and they don't move around. These are extremely comfortable, as they do not pull hair out, stay in place, and leave no marks or crimps in the hair. So you can wear them for part of the day and then take them out later without having to worry about crimp marks. I know they're supposed to be for small children, but I'm using them on my very thin/fine adult hair. They're super cute and keep my hair in place and out of my eyes while I'm at work. I tried a lot of different ones for women, but they either slipped out of my hair because it was too thin, or they left crimp marks that didn't come out until the next time I washed my hair. If you have thin hair and aren't afraid of bows (which don't stand out and have a subtle effect), they can work for adults as well.
