You're right, I am! With their spyholes, these work nicely, giving parents the peace of mind of not trimming too close to baby's One of my friends actually complimented me on my baby's nicely trimmed nails last week! If you have a wiggly baby, you should use these when baby is sleeping for the best results.
I found these clippers nice and affordable for baby, but they weren't sharp enough to cut through baby's nails or mine for that matter, so I wouldn't recommend them.
I think these would be perfect for a three-year-old! My granddaughters (3 yr old &amp 1 year old he) sits calmly and allows us to trim his nails! It's amazing what these guys can do! Using this curved nail file to get all those hard to reach spots is awesome!
Selected User Reviews For NailFrida The SnipperClipper Set by Fridababy – The Baby Essential Nail Care kit for Newborns and up
The last time I had a baby was almost 11 years ago, but my husband and I recently welcomed a new member of the family. It was stressful for me to clip new born nails because I remembered how horrible the clippers we had used were. I was intrigued by the little window in these clippers through which you can view tiny fingers after reading such wonderful reviews. However, the clippers are impossible to use. While well made and easy to handle, they prove to be tricky Nine of my nails were clipped by my husband In addition to nipping two fingers, he broke two others. She had her last nail clipped and she had her finger nipped! Do you have 3 bleeding baby fingers to your name? What a terrible thing to happen! The user error might have been due to mishaps with sharp objects, but my husband does microsurgery on people's eyes almost every day. In his work, he works with tiny things in minuscule spaces. As for myself, I won't use them again. They don't behave how you expect them to behave. If you get them, practice them on yourself first. As for me, I will never use these clippers My three tiny bleeding fingers were enough to discourage me from using these. I would recommend using baby manicure scissors next time. Given the quality of the item and the nail file that came with it, I gave them two stars.
The nails on a baby are way too big for tiny little fingers. The first time I tested them on my hands, the blades did not snip, but crushed my nails instead. Scissors were used For example, a like design is fine for clipping rabbit and other creatures' nails, but not for a.
There are so many advantages over those tiny embroidery boards that are almost impossible to handle. Because the file is shaped as an S, it is easy to hold and move. My daughter is still a newborn, so I have not used the nail clippers yet, but I will update you as soon as I have. The photo I provided is very important. Please look at it. Some previous customers complained that the sand paper kept peeling off or was not securely glued. In the picture, you can see that the company heard your reviews and listened to them a little bit and has changed the design a bit. As the product is no longer a paper but rather adhered directly to a board, it does not appear to be a paper.
I highly recommend this product along with this company's entire product line. It is one of the many items in the Fridababy line that I have purchased and they have not disappointed me.
Having our second baby with sharp talons put a lot of stress on his face. I bought this one for him. My pediatrician warned me it's very easy to over-use the adult nail clippers. If I used them, I would cut my nails too short You should not clip newborn nails and make them bleed. The product we had used was FridaBaby's NoseFrida Nose spray My wife and I have been suckered multiple times on our first child, so we are willing to pay a relatively high price for a product that is high quality and effective from a company that makes high quality I am particularly impressed with the nail clipper's quality in fact, I am extremely pleased with everything about it. There is a window in the clamp that allows me to easily see my newborn's nails as I clip her nails, and it is made of very solid materials. The clipping movement feels very smooth and precise, and I was able to see her nails easy while I clipped In the end, I found that the clippers just weren't working after multiple attempts. In my experience, the overlapping blades just wouldn't cut my newborn's nails, which is not surprising since the nails of newborns are so flexible and thin. The nail file also did not seem to be very effective at filing my newborn's nails. Although FridaBaby's file is composed of a very fine grit for parents to prevent burning their children while grooming them, I found that I had to spend an unreasonable amount of time to file away even one nail from my baby. In the end, I ended It is likely that the nail clipper will be more effective once my newborn's nails harden, so I will try it again next week and update my.
I love the window feature, but what makes the biggest difference for me is the sheer amount of options The surface is like a Clippers used for adults are typically very large and tend to "pop" together to snip through the entire width of the nail in one shot, while these gradually close (think of scissor blades) and just take one or two slices at a time. I like how gentle and safe it is. I only object to immobilizing my newborn by clipping their nails with their hands in place It's almost as if they don't feel the actual clip at all.
In comparison to other clippers, the spy hole helps so much more than magnifying glasses. My fingers were able to fit through the hole and I was able to see his little nails A great feature of this software is that there is no clipping.
While the tool worked well, I found it a bit tedious to use where I could see the nail through the "little window". By doing it another way, I managed to make it much easier. Since I had to use one of my hands to take the photo, it was difficult to take pictures. It was easier to point the finger of my baby towards the sky by holding her hand up (or each finger). After that, I held the clippers straight up over her nail at a point where the white hand piece faced me. (In such a manner that the window wasn't facing me. ) Please forgive me if this makes no sense. By doing this, I was able to accomplish the "window" feature on them more quickly and easily than if I had attempted to do it that way. I like the nail clippers a lot. Cutting is quick, and the blades are sharp (you barely need to push off For an easier way to prevent nicking, slide your nail under the clippers. The easy pressing down and fast cutting makes them much easier to use than other blades I've As I have not used the file yet, I have nothing to comment on I find the window feature of the browser to be a bit lacking. You might want to try it if your baby's nails were really really long? I don't care how they look, the clippers are awesome.
We're all drawn to Baby Frida stuff, let's be honest. That's what I mean the nail file has a curved end. Using it becomes much more difficult when it is rearranged. Because of how difficult it is to clip the nails of a wiggly 4 month old, I don't even use the clippers. It's a pain to use the nail file. I used it for only a couple of times before it dulled out. A short period of time does not suffice. The nail file I bought from the Dollar Tree worked better than the one I bought at the store. This seems like a nice little gift to put on your registry, but don't waste your money on it. You can buy a baby nail file set like Angel Love or you could just use a regular nail file.
