The handle of the FridaBaby clippers was larger, but they were easier to use and had a more attractive design Using the cut out area to see my baby is not going to pinch my fingers.

It was a disappointment. My old version had no little window, but the cutting surfaces are set up so that the left side is open, while the right side is closed. This allows for easy right handed use, since you can see the nail as you slide the clippers onto it. It claims to have a viewing window, yet the viewable side is on the back of the clippers, so it makes it impossible for me to view what I'm doing, so I end up holding them upside down, which results in them not clipping the nails short enough. This design is disappointing for me since the older design was fantastic. As they are held similar to clippers, but operate like scissors, their function is different than a clipper in that it does not bend and flatten out the nail bed as it does with clippers, and they are gentler on the little finger. In addition to the smooth cut, it is also easy to get one, but the new design has rendered them basically It appears this is tailored for lefties, which is great, but I would like it to be labeled that way. Right-handed use makes them dangerous because it is difficult to see if the nail is really on and if skin has been missed!.
It's confusing to me how they designed it. There are that many of them. My friends have always praised this company, and I have been using their Nose Frida ever since I discovered it, so I thought I would try I have never seen anything so completely useless in my entire life. I cannot clip anything with them (let alone clip my toddler's nails) because the blades don't even cut flush as a result of the concave shape of the blade and the weird angle of the metal tips. If I didn't go out and buy some that wouldn't pass inspection, I swear my toddler could have made thoroughly disappointed at how useless these have turned out to be. I think we will not be able to return them because we took them out of the packaging. Then, you can buy anything that looks like a regular nail clipper and you will be just as satisfied.
It's great to have Fridababy around! In fact, I was so happy with my SnipperClippers (original set of left in pic, purchased in 2017) that when I misplaced them I immediately went to Amazon to find out where to get a new pair. I was really disappointed in the new model because it doesn't open all the way, so there is no way to get it around a toddler's Hence, either it is faulty or is a knockoff Off (I notice the image on the right has a new "HK" number on top that wasn't there on the old pair? In any case, it was a complete waste of ten dollars.
The product seems to offer the perfect solution for cutting newborn nails. I was expecting it to meet my high expectations. The interface was tricky to use, though. There are angled blades on both sides of the spatula, so it starts cutting on one side and ends on the other side I actually found this to be less helpful than I thought it would be. Clippers could not be fit under the toes or nails that are curled under, such as those on the fingers. The item ended up being returned to me. We found it to be ineffective.
In order to care for my two toddlers and newborn, which consist of a newborn and a toddler, I normally have to cut 30 tiny fingernails and 30 toenails on Saturdays. As a result of using regular clippers, I accidentally cut the skin several When using these, it is much simpler to avoid clipping the skin and to see the nail clearly. Their shape is like clippers, but they are cutting instruments more like scissors. You can see the part of the nail you are cutting through a window in the clipper. As a matter of fact, I have used them myself from time-to-time when I needed them. Due to their size, they are easily able to cut kids' fingernails, but not as easily those of adults. It's actually two sets since I wanted to be sure I had a backup in case they went missing.
I am not sure if I received a defective product, but it either is that or it is really bad design since it does not My child's nail would not be cut because it couldn't grab enough of it to do so. My child has never complained about cutting his nails "hurting" at all before. It's part of the reason why this design helps not cut them too short in the first place. The worst part of it all is any part of his nail that is trimmed off ends up being very sharp, rough and jagged, so I have to file them down so that he does not scratch.
My only complaint with these clippers is that I can only use them in My babies do not get startled by an unfamiliar sound like the one made by traditional clippers when they're being snipped. It is useless to have the viewing window in the hands of small children If you like to keep your kid's nails short so debris under their nails is minimal, you must do so. I thought these clippers were really nice, however I like the scissor motion for trimming around the nail and minimizing sharp edges. It's easy to hold and cuts smoothly.
In 9 months of using these clippers, I've come to the conclusion that it's not an issue with me, it's with In the event that I don't hold them at the right angle, they slip off the nail instead of In the case that I do get the angle "right" and am able to cut the nail, it leaves a concave cut, which results in the edges of the nail being flared out and having a longer length than where the There is a jagged mess as a result, so I have to file down the nails carefully. It is extremely time-consuming and frustrating to use these clippers when cutting your nails. There are other excellent products from this brand, but the clippers I received were a failure.
