The update is Replacing it with a new one worked! Thanks to the seller! It's better than clippers and Baby loves it. I've filed Baby's nails a few times, and it works well. My first review was 2 stars, but I'm changing it to 3 stars since it works now, but didn't the first time. Great customer service, In the first instance, the switch for turning it on and off broke when we tried to use it on our child. Initially it was in the R setting, and to get it to stop spinning, I had to remove the batteries (not included). As for the functionality, it seemed to work for filing nails, but I found that the switch didn't work past turning it on the first time. Furthermore, the directions/manual are written in difficult-to-understand English.

This would've been more welcome if I'd received it earlier. Since my 6 months old was so interested in what I needed to do while I did her nails, she sat still so I could finish. It's so easy to use, fast, and the noise is not really loud. The extra replacements that it offers mean I can use it for myself as well. I would give it a ten out of ten.

I love how easy and quick it is to trim my nails. In most cases, my infant gets fascinated by the light that comes on and stays still for a long time. I used to wait until she was asleep to do it faster, but she never woke I feel in love with.
