Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if this shampoo contains sulfates?

I found that even though this shampoo was described as tear-free, my granddaughter's eyes were still itchy. Burt's Bees is all she has ever used and has never experienced any problems.

What is the content of phthalates in this product?

It is Johnsons all natural shampoo that I use. The plastic container itself, if it contains phthalates, would probably be the source of them, even though I am not an expert. We are sorry that we are unable to help you further.

This product is not the same as the bottles in the picture
3/5

This is a misleading product - I wanted the older version of the Johnson baby shampoo, as the picture shows, but I got the new one. The new version isn't as appealing since the formula burns my eyes and it's irritating to the skin.

There is a difference in It's not that I dislike the smell of this brand, but somehow, when purchased in this size, the scent is completely different from what I have come to expect
3/5

Can't figure it out. After switching back to the regular bottles, it worked fine. I assumed it was a one time error, so I reordered and it worked as well. I still do a great job cleaning, but my house.

The real deal is not what you see
3/5

There was no way this product could be genuine. My kids said it burned their eyes even though it had no smell. My family and I have been using it for four years without any issues and I like it mostly because it smells fresh.

The safety seal does not exist, as well as the odor is unpleasant
3/5

There is no safety seal and the smell is bad. Spanish was the language of the label. We opened it after the return cut off date, which was a huge mistake.

My fine hair looks and feels clean with this shampoo, and it contains no sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate
5/5

The following are the details of my situation The skin on my hands is sensitive, even though I am not a baby. The itch on my scalp has tormented me for years. The itching in my ears also increased after a while. I was suggested to switch to another shampoo by my doctor, who suspected that I was allergic to my current one. My problem remains despite the fact that I have tried several shampoos over the last couple of years. The doctor prescribed medication for my ears, but I preferred prevention over treating the problem as it arises. Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, and Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate - WHAT ARE THEY? In my online research, I found that many shampoos contain an ingredient called Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which is a foaming agent that produces that nice thick lather we all A person may find it irritating, but it isn't everyone. As I was reading it on the label of my shampoo, I saw that it was listed as the second ingredient on the list. It is linked to another ingredient called Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which has similar properties to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. This ingredient is not the same as another ingredient Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, which I recommend avoiding. Coconut and palm oils are the sources of sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, which is known to be The three names sound very similar, so they can be difficult for some to remember. The following natural products are available After I began searching for J&A, I eventually found it We recommend using J's Natural Baby Shampoo, which does not contain sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate. Natural products are part of this line of shampoos. It is made for babies, but since I have fine hair and sensitive skin, I thought perhaps it would work for me. First of all, I could not find this shampoo at my local store. J&N items are sold in a lot of stores I had been trying out J shampoos, but they did not carry the Natural line. When the Natural line was in stock, it would not last long. My search for the item took me to at least five different stores. It's true that I chain As I mentioned in my errands, it would have been better to just buy it on Amazon straight away, but I wanted to try it before buying the 2-sizes. Pack a bag. THE RESULTS WERE As for the first thing I noticed, it is that this shampoo is extremely The thickening ingredients might be irritating my skin, but I can tolerate that because it doesn't contain them. When pouring it, you just have to be careful not to let it drip out of your hand. It also doesn't lather as easily as "regular" shampoo, so you have to take a step back from wishing there was lather everywhere. Lather was nice, but the tradeoff is I don't have it There's nothing on. However, do not forget that perfume can also be an irritant. I certainly miss the scent of my old brand. A brief update As I mentioned in the above comment, I received a helpful tip (see comment) to first lather the shampoo in your hands before applying it to your hair. It does what it's supposed to do, and that's all that matters. The shampoo cleans just as well as the rest of my I was expecting my hair to be oily after applying this product. Bottom line I am happy with this shampoo and I am willing to trade it if you need it With thick lather and a mild shampoo, you can achieve a smooth and effective wash. The pros are The following *br There is no Sodium Laureth Sulfate or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in this product. The following *br Effectively cleans gently, but gentle at the same time- The price is reasonable. The cons are The following *br Lathers well, but will not lather - * Watery RECOMMENDATION The following *br Despite the cons, I would still tell someone who is sensitive to shampoos to use this shampoo. Since I like the idea of using less irritating synthetics and more natural ingredients, I gave the product an overall 5 star rating. The only way to know how it works for you is to try it. Everybody's chemistry is unique, so it can't be predicted how it will work. There is no need to worry about the cost. Hope it.

With Johnson's baby shampoo, your baby will feel relaxed
5/5

Lavender shampoo in Johnson's baby shampoo works really well with aromatherapy, in addition to helping to calm a baby. If you want to relax in a nice tub with familiar scents to assist as well, give it a try once in a while.

Not as good as regular J&J when it comes to smell
3/5

I don't like the smell as much as regular J&B Baby's scalp is not quite as dried out as it is with regular Johnson & Johnson be a little drying, but it can still be useful. A brand and price of this quality are rightfully expected to be of much higher quality.

This is great for adults as well
5/5

According to some articles, people should go without shampoo or only use it rarely. Even though I liked the idea, I am uncomfortable with washing my hair once or twice a week. Consequently, I started looking for shampoos that were free of sulfates. I am sorry. I'm freaking out It's a survey! Can you tell me how much a bottle of sulfate-free shampoo costs for adults? A grand larceny has been committed! There are two common chemical ingredients used in most shampoos sodium laurel sulfate (aka SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (aka sodium laurel ether sulfate, aka SLES). SLS and SLES are the ingredients that produce the suds in shampoo, soap, and, yes, dishwashing What's with your short hair and the suds you can never seem to get rid of? A sponge always has a little bit of suds in it, just like when you squeeze Due to SLS and SLES, that is the case. SLS/SLES were associated with cancer rumors on the internet. The opposite is true. Hair is, however, left dry because of it. I consider there to be an element of maiming when you cause dry hair. I bought Johnson's Baby Natural Shampoo because it's made with natural ingredients. On this page you will find a list of every ingredient. In addition to sodium benzoate (used as a preservative in many food products), sodium hydroxide and citric acid (both used to adjust the pH level) the only synthetic ingredients are sodium hydroxide and sodium benzoate. The amount of sodium in shampoo is of concern to many people But the pH is naturally balanced by the plant. It is watery, but one does not need much of it. Without it, the shampoo would be too acidic. There is no need to wash your hair strands, only your roots should be washed. Cleaning of the hair occurs as one rinses the shampoo out of the hair. If you are not used to the low sudsing factor, you might have a hard time getting used to it. Furthermore, the price of this shampoo is so much lower than the price of any sulfate-containing shampoo There are no shampoos to be had for free.
