wish I had purchased this infant seat for my first child! I believe you would be hard pressed to find a better replacement car seat at this price point (especially if the purchase is made through an Amazon Prime registry). mention that we used the seat and base that came with our graco stroller travel system for our first child, and it was a pain to maneuver it. A pool noodle had to be placed underneath one side of the base. The straps did not have a front pull to tighten, so we had to adjust them manually in the back (each time we put our son in and out of the seat. As a result, we wrapped the rolled up blankets around his head instead of using the infant insert. It did not require both hands to adjust, but we used it until we upgraded to a convertible seat around the age of 9 or 10. I've had the same thing for 10 months now, but it was annoying every time. The car seat has mixed feelings for me. I didn't have trouble installing the base, but the latches weren't long enough to I don't know if it's because of my car (2014 Escape) or something else. Having to deal with the handle on top of the car seat is the most frustrating part about it. The button almost never sticks all the way in for me, even when I try to push it all the way in. To get it to work, I have to shake it for a few seconds. The car seat looks nice and it seems to be a safe one, but there are some issues with the handle because it makes it longer to get out of the car than it should.
