Consumer review from a real person! product with a limited number of reviews online, and the only ones I could find were from people who received it Let's see what I had to say this time! I am expecting child #2 in May, and we used the standard Snugride click connect 35 with our 1st child (produced in 2013), so I'll compare two models as well
4/5

Buying it on sale for $60 off made it $112 after tax, which makes it a good deal. The new carseat base from Graco really knocks it out of the park. In the SnugLock 35, the base consists of a small arm that easily lifts up, so you can either a) thread the seatbelt across it and down into the holes, or b) thread the latch strap across it and down. A front storage case, which is easy to open and close, is also included with the latch strap As well as the instruction manual, they recommend keeping it there as well. As soon as you snap the straps around the seatbelt or latch, and then lower the arm back, it automatically returns to its original position and locks. Essentially, this acts as a lockoff, so the strap cannot move while your base is installed, ensuring it is tight, secure, and durable. In those days, the older click-connect 35 base was a bit of a chore to install because the latch and seatbelt would still move inside the holes in the base, there was no way to lock them in place. Therefore, you have to pull SO HARD to get the straps tight, which, let's face it, is not always possible. After the straps had been tightened, the base would still slide underneath them. This gives me a much better and safer sense of security. It's hard to get used to the hook attachments of the LATCH straps, but they aren't as nice as the buttons. Upgrade to the "fancier" 35 version (LX, DLX, elite, platinum) and I believe you will receive the attachments with one button for release. Since the latch hooks weren't make or break for me and since the sale price was so low, I didn't think the extra $100 was worth it. Additionally, the base has a different way to adjust the position of the recliner than the older click connection Rather than the little red dial in front, it's now a handle you squeeze up on, and a piece of plastic comes out of the bottom to steepen the incline if necessary. The new snuglock model is much easier to use than the old one, and it has a nice feature. We like the snugride click connect 35 seat a little better than our old one. It doesn't make sense, but the outer textile feels nice, but for some reason the seat part is a rougher fabric, similar to the older model fabrics. The rougher fabric where the child sits is more water and stain resistant, which is nice if you have a baby under the seat. I'm not sure why they chose to have 2 different types of fabrics, especially the rougher one. There is a possibility that the deluxe models might be covered in a softer, more modern material. This newborn insert is different from the older 35 insert, since it is flatter, it does not wrap around the baby's head, but it feels thicker and holds its shape better than the older 35 insert. It is not as padded or long as the current deluxe insert. When it comes to accident safety, however, I honestly don't think newborn inserts can do much, if you do your They provide more comfort for parents, as well as the ability to place their baby in the car As such, this insert does the trick and actually improves the old model insert compared to the current one.

Weight This is a great product that is There are seven pounds of weight in this seat. Infant seats tend to be lighter than ones that weigh more than 5lbs. At the store, I picked up the snugride 40 and the Britax b safe and they both weigh 10 pounds. Because they felt heavier and I found myself unable to lug them around all day, I selected the one with the rougher fabric.

The canopy is made from the same fabric as the inner seat. While it is not as rough as my old 35 fabric, it is still rough. Unfortunately, I do not know what the term textiles means! I was really impressed with the canopy of the elite model I saw in the store, as it was soft, thin, and high-end-looking, while in this case the fabric is different (cheaper). A few of the moving parts on this canopy are more challenging than on There is a louder click sound, and you have to wiggle and "fight" with it a bit to get it to move In my opinion, the canopy is a downgrade, since the old canopy could move much more easily and didn't have the clicking sound. Also included in the deluxe versions is a smooth gliding canopy without clicking. The owner thought it would be cheaper to buy a cheap canopy for some reason. I find it to be one of the least favorite features of this car seat. The canopy DOES extend a bit further than the 35 model, which is nice but can also be a challenge to get off of the handle once in place. Using the two red buttons on either side of the handle, the handle moves, so it requires two hands to use. I don't have an issue with it, and I am a person with no coordination, so it's not that big of an issue for me. A more deluxe model might have a single hand design with a button in the middle of the handle, however, I do not think that feature is worth $100 more. Most of the time, the canopy doesn't get in the way of the handle, but sometimes it does. There are 3 standard harness straps on this harness. The following is a repeat There is no return policy on the Deluxe model thread harness This feature allows you to make threads. When using a car seat for an infant, this is generally not a big deal, since you can remove the car seat from its base and access its There has been no re-election An excellent thread harness is essential for convertible carseats, especially when your child moves to the front Since accessing the back to adjust the straps on that type of seat is SO much more difficult (having to uninstall the whole seat), that's why we recommend facing. In the case of the infant seat, there is no need to uninstall anything, so although the no-rethread is nice, it is a bit overkill for the infant seat and is not really worth the extra cost. Rethreading the straps is not a difficult process and comes out easily. Typically, seats are hard to tighten and adjust, but this one is a breeze. The crotch strap pulls easily, and there is no tugging or pulling required. Graco seats are the only thing I dislike - the button to loosen the crotch strap is under the seat fabric, where you reach it by sticking your finger into the hole created by the excess The hidden nature of this feature makes it extremely difficult to use. In addition, you also have to scramble around to find the metal button to press down, and in the case of someone else (like grandma) watching the baby, you have to remember to remind them This is a great feature I hope they update in the future. Despite not being listed in the specs, this seat comes with the little strap covers, which was a nice surprise. I really like how soft they are and how they perk up. This was not the case with the older 35 seat. The seat I have is really good and I really recommend it. I see it on sale for a bit less at some retailers, but it currently retails for $159 at some stores. In comparison to the old click connect base, the new snuglock base is a huge improvement. I highly recommend it. was a little cushier than the last model, but other than that, it felt very similar to the Two hundred twenty).

A newborn should not consume this food
3/5

A gift of this was purchased in October for a babyshower Leaving the window of return in the open 1 month before the due date without realizing it would close. This is my own fault because I did not consider the possibility of returning it since I have always loved Graco In a cruel twist of fate, the baby arrived four weeks early and still after the return window. The model does not include the small infant insert that arrives with most other car seats if you have a 6-pound baby. This "infant seat" has no support for the head of an infant at all. This unsafe seat can no longer be returned since the aftermarket inserts are not safe. The only thing I've ever been disappointed with at graco was this item.

There is no need to purchase the additional base since it comes with the car
5/5

This is a great car seat, but they make it seem like you have to buy a base in addition to the seat. In reality, it comes with a base! In addition to the stroller, I also purchased a Verb baby carrier, which is a true click and go stroller! Both the base that comes with the car seat and the base that DOES NOT come with it are very easy to click in, I.

This is great for flights and travel, but you should use it without a In the rental car and on the flight with United, I used this card
5/5

Do not even attempt to bring the base on the plane it is entirely useless and complicated. In this case, the seat belt fits perfectly into grooves on the back and is secured. This seat can only be used rearward facing. This base has not been approved by the FAA, but the actual seat My rental car didn't have enough strap to fit in the backseat of the base, so I used the seat belt. It was also much easier and just as secure and safe as the base. This is a superlightweight. While I like the button feature, it can be a bit tricky to get used to where the locked positions are. The overall impression I have is positive. The hotel is highly recommended for travelers.

This car seat is perfect for an infant
5/5

Having used this car seat for over a year, I am in love with it. According to my reasoning (considering it fits between two other toddler/booster seats in my car), it is not too heavy or bulky. One hand adjustment is THE BEST feature I've ever seen on a car seat, since as most moms know, we are usually doing things one handed, so it makes a huge So far I like the seat a lot because it is cute, functional, and affordable. I recommend it to any parent having a baby. (This is my third baby) Excellent infant seat, hope to use it for a while.

This is an awesome love this seat so much! After my son turned 3 months, I got him this seat when I realized he loved it better than also tried three other brands of car seats and all of them were terrible in some way
5/5

It's just everything about this chair that we love! In other words, 1 I love everything about it, from the click adjust to the canopy and the way it is installed. We plan to keep him in it for as long as we can!.

You have to work hard to use this handle
4/5

The company's nbsp My car seat's handle is difficult to operate, though I'm not sure if it is a problem with all seats or if mine is broken. Despite its seamless appearance, it is not. It will stop just above the top of the car seat when you push the button. The handle has to be moved into place and I have to hear it click before I can push the button and move it all the way down and out of the way to put the Raising the handle is the same as lowering it. A lot of people find this In any case, the car seat is a good choice! The system is easy to install, compact, and secure.

Our baby has fallen asleep instantly while riding in the car on the few occasions we have taken her. In keeping with the brand's reputation, they are reliable. I am very satisfied with the quality and comfort of the car seat. Recommend it without hesitation.
