Note that this review concerns the original KeyFit and not the KeyFit30 or other models more recent. It's great that this car seat fits me so well. This is the same one I had for my twins, so when I found out I was pregnant again, I looked all over for another one. There is an excellent balance between convenience, safety, and lightness in this device. A major emphasis should be placed on "light!" Please check the weights on the more recent models that are supposedly "improved. ". I'm so surprised how heavy they are compared with the originals! purpose of a car seat styled like a "baby bucket" is to make it easier to get children in and out of the vehicle. It will be less successful at that goal with every extra pound added to the seat. It does not seem very meaningful to me that the upgraded seats for the baby now have increased weight limits. Is it really necessary to carry and lift a 30 pound child AND There is nobody! The reason is that children usually grow out of the seat before they reach the weight limit.
