I would recommend this product to anyone who has to drive for an extended period of time with their toddler.
During our road trip, we anticipated great things from this, but my finger was scraped off (enough to draw blood) on the corner of the clip and we had to rethink using it. can see how it would be clipped during use with children, but for a product designed for kids to have sharp corners that could possibly snag tiny fingers during transit was concerning to me.
As a father, I appreciate the fact that my daughter can fit work or art into the car without having to worry about clutter. I don't like the smell of this product at all! As soon as I opened the box, a terrible chemical smell hit me. Even if I opened it for a few minutes, I could not even see Unclipping it and immediately putting it on the porch, I immediately placed it at my feet. In order to disinfect it, I sprayed disinfectant on it and let it stand for 48 hours. As soon as I went to get it in the morning, I smelled it. It smelled after only 3 days of being outside and it took me 3 days of completely cleaning it for it to stop. Even with my children using it, I was initially leery of the chemicals present in it as well as the smell. Because of the great nature of the product itself, I gave it a 3 star rating.
The other day, I just received this and I was extremely disappointed right out of the box! Pictures will be added to demonstrate what I'm talking about. A previous use appears to have been made of this! Glitter and other debris were left behind, as well as marks all over it! A number of places on it are also smeared with the design. The quality seems I thought my daughter looked comfortable in it and it was sturdy. Some of the others we have seen are really short-lived. Using the divider thing was perfect for holding snacks and crayons, and I liked the idea that a bottle of water could also go on the side of it. Although we haven't used the iPad holder yet, I like that it's clear without a "wide belt" covering the screen like others do.
The colors are really nice, not too babyish, and the chevrons are pretty close to my baby bag. I was very impressed with this product and I plan on using it for many I plan to purchase gifts for my nieces as well!.
