The KeyFit, according to my understanding, has excellent padding; however, the infant seat I used (a Graco) did not have enough padding, and my daughter's head was dangerously perpendicular to her body, causing her to slump a lot. Due to the breathing risks of her head being in these positions, I installed this in my daughter's car seat, and she now has proper support and head position, as well as the ability to breathe without sounding as if she were being suffocated. I wish these dang manufacturers would "crash test" some of the most reliable and common accessories, because this product probably saved my baby's life, but there's no incentive for them to do so, so they'll just keep saying "don't use this" with a car seat. As a Cafe Mom advocate for car seat safety, I can tell you that there are a lot of babies in car seats that aren't properly fitted. That said, I wish I had gotten the KeyFit when I was pregnant with my daughter, because I'm sure you won't need it with it. Apart from that, we took this insert everywhere with us and used it to help her fit in strollers, bouncy seats, and swings. It made her sweat a little more, but if it's hot in the room or outside, just keep your baby cool.

The front feels like a towel and the back feels like a sheet but neither side is soft. The design is fantastic, but the material isn't ideal.
It fits our car seat perfectly, and it appears to be adaptable enough to fit pretty much anything. It's completely secure. It's better for newborns because it's quite plush, and as the baby grows older, it becomes more snug and uncomfortable.
Although I do not own a Bob Stroller, I would answer yes (and no). Yes, first and foremost. I have the Svan reclining chair, which provides excellent support, and the Bob Stroller is a jogging stroller (yes?). If you were running at a jogging pace, I don't think this would provide enough support for a newborn. If your stroller allows it, I believe you should use the car seat.

I should have heeded one of the parents' warnings that this supporter could injure the baby's neck in a negative review. I have so many regrets. When my baby began to cry whenever he was buckled into his car seat, I realized that his back of the neck had been rubbed against the connector's hard part. His skin was a deep shade of scarlet, almost bleeding. I was so close to crying. This is being returned to you!.
I'm so glad I purchased it for my city mini gt double stroller. I was planning on purchasing the infant car seat adapter, but it was prohibitively expensive (especially considering I would only use it for three months). I couldn't justify spending $500 on a stroller that already had an adapter. Then I came across this fantastic little snuzzler on Amazon by chance! It performs admirably. All I did was recline the seat, attach the snuzzler, lay the baby down, and buckle him up (all with one hand). The baby appeared to be secure and felt that way. This purchase has exceeded my expectations.
killer. I'd read other reviews that mentioned the velcro that connects the head pillow to the body portion, but I figured I'd give it a shot to see how it worked. They were correct in their assessments. The head pillow is attached BEHIND the body portion, as shown in the product photo. When the baby sits in the seat, the weight naturally pulls down on the body section, causing it to "roll" down and reveal the rough velcro. We only had to use it once to figure out what was wrong before returning it.
It's a must-have for a newborn to keep their head from leaning to one side; the first photo was taken when she was about a month old, and the second photo was taken when she was seven months old. She's petite for her age, weighing in at 14 pounds and measuring 26 inches in length. If that helps you decide whether to get it or not, she'll soon outgrow it.
For our newborn, we recently bought the Graco Snugride. We noticed that her head would flop down when she slept after a few trips in the car. So we buy the Summer Infant Snuzzler Infant Support. br>br>This item comes in a zippered bag, which makes it easy to store when it's no longer needed. It's all because of the insert. Because our daughter's head is properly supported, it no longer flops around. The side cushions hug her body, giving her a more relaxed appearance. We have a small baby (only 7 pounds), so I was concerned that it would be too big for her, but this is not the case. br>br>I would strongly advise others to use this product.
I wish I'd had one when my first child was born.
We bought it because we misplaced the infant insert for our carseat, and replacing it was almost as expensive as buying a new car seat. br>BUT the head piece and body piece attach with velcro so that you can adjust the height of the head support; however, on ours, the pieces pull away from each other, EXPOSING THE ROUGH SIDE OF THE VELCRO. We didn't realize it until our newborn developed a red rash on the back of her neck, which has persisted for over two weeks after her neck was rubbed against the rough velcro. We covered the hole with a small scrap of cloth, but BE VERY CAREFUL that the velcro is not exposed before putting your child in!.
We started using it in our Bob stroller when my son was about 4-years-old. At the age of five weeks, To take him for walks, we would recline the seat and snuggle him in with the Snuzzler. He felt at ease and was surrounded by people who cared about him. This meant he didn't have to use his baby carrier in the stroller, which didn't seem as comfortable as using the Snuzzler in the stroller. This is something I would recommend for use with a stroller.
